Some basic superpowers
Super strength
Super speed
Super Flight
Healing
Immortality
Invisibility
Necromancer
Talking to animals
Telekinesis
Control Fire, Ice
Control Weather
Super senses
Shapeshifting
etc.............
I would control time, so I could become a rich SOB, then trick Angelina Jolie, and Evan Rachael Wood both into wanting my sexy body and each others sexy bodies.
Then I would just keep repeating the process over and over and over.

Healing..... its the one that would get used most and frankly unless others also had such powers and you had to fight against them, most of the others would be pretty limited.

I would have the power to delve deep into men's mind and bring forth the very essence of their darkest fears; to let loose upon this repulsive race called humanity the most hideous and vile desecrations of their own imagining. My power would alter the course of rivers, fell great forests, influence the tides, crack the earth and even rend the stars of heaven from their eternal orbits!
...or the ability to find that one dang sock that's always missing after a load of laundry.
Whichever is more practical.

Anybody remember the movie "Meteor Man"?
In it, one of the powers that the guy got was the ability to touch a book and completely absorb all the information in it for 30 seconds. If I could extend that time indefinitely, that would definitely be the power that I want.

Yeah but I could do way more damage than all of you, because I could keep going back in time changing important events controlling time could lead to complete chaos.
I could go back in time bring myself back, into the future then go back in time again and grab both of myselves, and then bring them back to the future, and I could keep repeating this process until I have a billion of me.

I'm all about psychic powers.
I've always wanted to be a telekinetic, ever since I was a little girl. I've also created my own version of a "siren" in my book series that I think would be cool to be. She has minor powers for mind control and manipulation, using her voice as her tool, and she can experience the thoughts and feelings running through peoples minds, especially when people are emotionally vulnerable.
I've never really gotten into the whole flying thing.

Shapeshifting and Immortality together would be cool.
If you want to fly just shapeshift into a bird and since you live forever, if you get bored with one life just shapeshift into someone else and live that life...

The ability to actually get the human race to do something for the future of our race and earth with all its inhabitants.
Being able to fly and having the powers of dragonball z fighters would be pretty cool though.

Depending on thermal capability, this would be cool.
Personally, I'd have to go for Spider Man's powers. Nevermind the Wall crawling, web swinging action. I just want his agility/strength, and the little twist of precognition. (what's the sense of being agile, can't tell whats about to happen)

Super strength : Helpful with rescues, in disaster situations.
Super speed : The ability to quickly travel anywhere? Run on water?
Super Flight : again, a mobility issue, and perhalps usefull in stopping hijacked aircraft.
Healing: Nuff said.
Immortality: This would suck. I could see someone working 9-5 for the next 10,000 years.
Invisibility : Useful, but can you turn it on and off? If not, shaving will be hell.
Necromancer: Miss your Grandma? No problem! (aka, useless ability)
Talking to animals: Helpful for training pets.
Telekinesis : Theft/personal gain.
Control Fire, Ice : no comment.
Control Weather : Fix droughts, forest fires, flooding with a flick of the wrist.
Super senses: Meaning? ESP? Precognition? definatly usefull.
Shapeshifting: As long as i' not blue and scaly, i'm happy.

Necromancy a usless abality What ever! Don't you see the power in that, you could raise an entire army of the dead. Then once you have an entire army you enslave the human race and take all the pornstars and have your way with them. the end.

I always thought it would be cool to be able to see your dreams in a conscious state and sort of replay them over again from the night before only you could rewind them, pause and all that. I'd like to see other people's dreams too. And since I always dream I'm Spider Man or some superhero, I'd like the power to zap around like that as if gravity doesn't exist. The power to be invisible and reappear when I want. I'd want to lay my hand on someone and be able to heal them with just the thought. And all those other things you guys mentioned would be pretty neat too!! Maybe these things become reality when we die and leave the limitations of our bodies!!

My fave superhero is spiderman but as I am a girl... hell I would be spiderman anyway. He has cool powers. I wouldn't mind being invisible, shape shifing and the super powers. In fact I want them all!!!!

My ability would be the ability to shape the fundamental building blocks of the universe however I chose. I would merely think of a reality that I would like and immediately it becomes real. Of course, this would suck for the other humans, just trying to make a living and then being sucked into a giant volcano (AKA My Sauna).

Anyway I love the power to be able to phase through solid matter eg: doors and walls etc. I would think that would be super cool! And I would love to fly and control the wind.

I'd like to fly, but I'm afraid of heights, so it would be more of a hover.
Since I couldn't do that, I'd rather have the power to change the speed of time. I could make certain things go faster or slower, anything I want. I wouldn't want the time travel thing, because there are so many ways to mess up. This way I could move things around and move super fast.

Ok, I guess I would take Super Flight, that way whenever I wanted to go on vacation I wouldn't have to pay for an airplane ticket! I'd be able to fly wherever I wanted and for FREE!!!
