Yes, I must agree...but do you know what I do to make it all choppy? I take a very large picture of just flames on the net. I suggest google it on images. Then I take just chunks of the picture, and set that as the avators background. And since the background is like 110 to 110 pixels, and you take a picture like 1000 to 1000 pixels, you can have like...1, 2....over 80 different backgrounds .

Its like a multiplication table. Imagine the entire the picture as a multiplication table, and puting a frame in each square '110-pixels' .

Well, if you wanted to use this, I've had this for a while, it might help a little with Kratos' thing.

here ya go UP... not exactly what i had in mind, but i like it.

and don't feel obligated to use it, if you don't like it, then don't use it.

1. alien pooping out of stomach
2. moves head, eyes towards camera, eyes lite up
3. body burst into flames

I like the head moving idea. Would be quite jolting, no?

i assume you mean "popping"... that would be the easiest of the three, but still quite hard.

We'd have to completely construct the face ourselves for every frame... very difficult to do. It would be nearly impossible to do with MS Paint... even photoshop

Flames are very hard to animate... especially bursting flames.

Triniant - If I may be so bold as to offer some advice, you're using a program which can do things myself and UniversalAbsurdity can only dream of while still using Windows Paint but they arn't really keeping with the theme of the avatar.

Flashy effects are all well and good but if it was me a simple blinking, maybe hair waving in the wind and a smile would be more appropriate here. Making her head explode or engulf in blue flame might be a little over the top

I respect the honesty and yes I "can" and "do" get carried away sometimes , so now that has been pointed out, I will keep it within the requests made .

As far as Janiel's avatar is concerned, maybe you can use your expertise and fix something up for him. Eye blinking, hair waving, and/or smiles (or the face in general) are not my strongest fields, but I am learning and experimenting.

BTW, Windows Paint plays the biggest part in my animations .

I can colour her in, but there are 34 frames in that animation each needing at least four colours, yellow, black, green and flesh. It would take some time to do which I haven't really got right now....but it is possible
