Could anyone teach me how to do this? I've been reading the instructional in the beginning but am having trouble isolating the image I want to move in Photoshop 7.0. I'm trying to make the hair in this pic-
http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a192/Kod...om/P1020532.jpg move. I'm not that great with computer graphics but am trying to learn. Thanks alot in advance.

without a few film frames for that pic, this is all I can think of to do with it.......I'm sure there are lots of folks here that could do better, but thats all I can think of with one pic and paint..........sorry

I know you've asked about it a few times now

That's NP I know you guys are busy and you do great work. I was feeling like a pest so I thought I should try to learn on my own so I don't keep bothering you. Thanks so much for doing that. So you say MS Paint is better to start with than photoshop?

I just use paint, and this free MS gif animator,
http://www.jhepple.com/gif_animator.htmand this free optimizer after my animation is finished:

sayntbrigid!
Looks like good stuff there but if I could make a few pointers...
It's not the speed of the animation that makes it a little psychadellic, it's the amount of frames. Do you have another program that can rotate more than just 90 degrees at a time such as Microsoft Picture Editor?
That way you can have more than 8 frames but keep the same speed, making it appear slower and smoother.
Also, you may have noticed Microsoft Gif Animator loses some quality when it makes Gifs, which is the main reason I don't use it anymore, if you'd like a better program just PM me and ask

It's ok I just have a sick sense of humor.
I guess it depends on how you want help, I'm an animator here on UM, and nowhere else. If you post here asking for help i will help you, if you want hints I can give them and there are the tutorials in the first post if you'd like to follow them.
However I can't come and animate on your forum, if that's what your asking. Purely because I have enough trouble finding time to animate on UM without working on another forum too
Hope that helps

Yes by all means, so long as you credit the artist that does it as "(animator) from unexplained-mysteries.com" then I can't see a problem.
As far as I can tell if people come here from other websites to get avatars thats a compliment not an insult

Hi different

My eyeballs are fuzzy and I cant quite tell which are the flames, is the lighter red part the flames? It gets to fuzzy for me to tell when I zoom, but if you could tell me which color is the flames, then I could think of something

or if you have a larger pic

Could someone do a little photoshopping for me?
I would like this head

put on the guy standing next to walt disney in this picture.... so it looks like he is standing with Walt.
Not sure if you will have to make the head a little larger for the proportions to look good or if you can use it the way it is?

thanks in advance!!

once you have left the uploading site, it can be a bit hard to find your pic again. try uploading it again and see if that works.
also, can you tell me what the picture was and on what site was it on? perhaps i could do a bit of scrounging around for you.

The site image gallery is not actually intended for hosting forum avatars, it's for posting paranormal related photographs.
You'll need to find some web space to host your avatar on, such as imageshack, and then remotely link to it from there.
