i had an idea to make the smoke, or dirt, or dust, or whatever that is shooting out from behind him move a little bit... but that would be too hard to make it look cool....other than that, i can't think of a thing to do with yours blue....

While searching for Hieroglyphs I found a cool site that lets you download the fonts for free if anyone is interested.

I thought three hieroglyphs looked better than one, so that's what I put in...

just use MS Paint to change the frames, and copy and paste them into this animator, it's a small download... and it doesnt have any viruses...

i hope that this animator is much easier for you...

cerberus, when animating in MS GIF animator, you need to assign a duration for each frame, third tab on the right. Some other animators do this automaticly for you.
It would be the box above the 'undraw method" box (duration 1/100 s)
Play with the times for each frame untill you get it right. dont be afraid to add several frames to get movement smooth.

not that we particularly mind but you might want to start up your own animation thread and show off your work in there, this is an avatar thread after all

Also, you asked for critique on your work, well in that last tiger animation when his arm moves down to dunk the ball it appears under the tigers chin, when his arm moves back up again part of it can still be seen under his chin.

Also there's a lot of white background in your pics, this uses up more memory than necessary you may want to crop them a bit.

I did fix that arm thing before, but the GIF corrupt, so i remade it and forgot to edit the arm out!

Also, the fingers on the fox, are going the wrong way. He finger animatio goes from thumb to little finger, not little finger to thumb.

Can i just ask one more piece of advice?

When i use Microsoft GIF animator, i make the image in MS Paint, save them as GIFs in Photoshop, and then import to the animator.

When i save certain images, it save the GIF as a file that the animator will not open and makes the program crash when i open it.

It comes up as a picture file logo (a camera and green landscape) and i can't view the GIF at all.

Any ideas why it does this?

BTW, i might also take some requests for avatars, to keep on this thread. It's a really good thread, and i can make some good animations.

That used to happen to me but my computer didn't crash.

TIP: Since you're using Photoshop, export the files as gifs rather than saving them as gif files.

I personally have no idea why Photoshop has it that way, maybe a bug that they haven't yet realized...
