how do i use the swords?

You just beat the ghost unti lit falls down then use the sword.

i got abit distracted with SH4 to write more of teh story as of yet. LOL

the swords are NOT weapons, they're items. to use them you must first knock the ghost down so it is stunned, then use the sword like an item on the ghost.

yeah but it wont let me use it. idk why. i have another question. im trying to get through the door that the train brought me to, but it says i have to get Eileen. i went back to get her. i started to go down the ladder when a little movie sequence came up. i accidentaly skipped it. i tried to go through the door again, but it still says i cant leave Eileen. what the hell am i supposta do?

Did you pick up Cynthias Subway pass thing? If you did you can bring Eileen down the escalator from the top. So you need to re-group with her, go back up to the subway entrance, use the pass to go down the opposite side where Cynthia was killed. Okay?

I will finish the story soon. It's only a couple more chapters.

Yeah the ghosts are annoying. I don't mind the backtracking so much but the ghosts really piss me off.

Anyway you're about to finish the subway world. Don't forget to go to your apartment and check if any more demons have invaded. In the Forest you'll find a few candles.

i quit awhile ago. i didnt finish the subway. theres a child demon in my bedroom right now, but i have no more candles or medallions to use. my last medallion broke trying to make it go away. but thats the only demon in the room at this time. i think im not gonna play again till tomorrow. but at this rate, im not gonna finish the game before i have to bring it back again. o well. i can always rent it again when i got more money.

Is the child demon the one in the closet? I hate that one because it starts to hurt you as soon as you jump into a hole.
It takes about 3/4th the medalions power to make a demon go away, so if you'd previously used the medalion to protect you from ghosts in the worlds, then it probably wouldn't have had enough power.

yeah its the one in the closet. but with the remaining power from the medallion, i managed to weaken it enough i guess. do any of the hauntings occur more than once?

One. The dolls above the box will appear constantly unless you take the doll out of the box and put it in your inventory.

MUCH better. It seems like the first half is practice, while the second half is the actual game.

However i'm not that found of having Eileen tag along, even if she can fight her own battles. I usually just leave her in a safe room and come back for her later when the area is clear.

Yeah, but if you don't care about the ending it's quite good to have someone helping you.

And have you seen when Eileen looks like possesed and doing some really strange stuff?

No. I hear that she starts doing very strange things when she gets really hurt?
My Eileen has been cept nice and safe so far. Not a scratch.

My Eileen starts hitting herself and saying some strange stuff.... it was a miracle I actually saved her (had to try like 7 times to do it)

i read that you can heal her by placing a candle at her feet, the marks on her body go away. true?

tried to, but didn't get it. Anyways, I saved her.

If you keep her safe in the tagging section, it will be harder for her to die in the end.

I read that too. The more 'posessed' she is, the faster she gets to the thing that the end which kills her and you have to kill the last boss before she reaches it right?

Well, i've just finished the hospital with a candle, 2 spirit bracelet thingies, 3 first aid kits and 5 health drinks, an ampole and 100 bullets, i think i should be set this time.

however, i forgot to pick up the silver bullet in the forest. i hope i can pick it up next time though. if not i'm screwed, i was hoping to use it on braintree and pin him down when i see him in the city world again.

Woohoo! I was able to pick up the silver bullet i missed the second time through the forest.
I just completed the second time through the forest, and i must say i'm doing alot better. 10 health drinks, 4 medi-packs and an ampole, 2 silver bullets and a couple medalions left. And my apartment is currently free of spirits, although alot of them have been exorcised so far and they keep re-appearing. I've had to exorcise the child in the closet 3 times using up a good majority of my hoarded candles.
I also have 2 swords so if the going gets tough i can put the tough down!
Sadly Eileen took quite a beating in the forest by Walter and now she's got red all over her.

Burnside I have no idea what to do in the forest please help.

Thats easy. Find the graveyard, watch the movie. (bottom left of your map)

Find Jasper at the front of Wish House, give him choclate milk.

Find the tree stump that looks like hands in the bottom right of the level, one screen before the area with the hole(check your map) and use the spade from Jasper.

Return to your apartment, put the key in the chest.

Go to wish house, use the hole, retrieve the key.

Go inside wish house.

The second time silly

Second time.


Where you enter, the grave yard, there is a flame. Under the flame is a torch. Take the torch and use it on the gas can besides the hole in your apartment.

Light the torch by touching the flame.

There are 5 wells in the forest. One by the graveyard, one on the opposite side, on by the cave, one just before the errie rock where you first met jasper and one where you started the first time through.

Check each of these wells with a light torch, and you'll get 5 doll pieces. Attach them to the doll, the doll will reveal the exit for you.

Crap I wasted a candle because it said Holy Flame

hahah never use candles in the Other World, only in your apartment to dispell demons.

I have 135 pistols bullets, 18 revolver bullets, 6 ND,1 first aid kit and an ampouline. 3 candles and 3 madealiions. Am i good?

Very good. Haven't you been using your candles/medalions?

No unfortunatelly I have a brother that likes video games . and no I did not use any candles because they come back right? So why not use them right before the end?

They're not supposed to come back.
And if more than 4 are in your apartment your health will slowly drain. It's better to save the health than the candles. You get ALOT of candles in the next 2 levels.

Ok as soon as i can kick my brother off the PS2 I will use them.

i think im done with this game for good. i got to the forest the second time and now im just getting pissed off about everything. its taking me forever to figure out what to do, and the ghosts are following me everywhere. i getting really frusterated with the game so im just gonna bring it back to the store and rent it again some other time.

Yeah, games should be challenging, but they should never be so hard as to cause stress

haha why are you getting frustrated? the ghosts are easy to avoid.

in the forest you find a torch in the cemetary by the lamp and you light the touch using the fires everywhere in the forest. find 5 wells, look in them, find 5 body parts, but it on the doll, done.

[edit] it's easy! and i'm on NORMAL mode, you're on EASY mode. camaaan, it's not hard at all.

i just dont wanna go through all that trouble. maybe its just because im in the mood for a more action packed game. i guess its back to Jak 2...

SILENT HILL STORY

SILENT HILL cont.
Lakeside Amusement Park


Harry saw the fence had been cut, most likely by Cybil, and climbed inside, headed down the ladder. After the last time he wasn't really looking forward to moving underground again, especially in the nightmare realm of Silent Hill but what choice did he have? He decended the ladder into the darkness, and started down the long service tunnel. At least it wasn't really a sewer this time. Just a long tunnel that, if he'd read the map on the fence right, would lead him out in the middle of the park.

Harry reached the end of the tunnel with no problems. He'd seen blood on the wall but didn't register it, there was blood everywhere. The tunnel had been decorated gruesomely. In some areas, the tunnel would give way to rusted corrogated steel floors and walls and he could see more corpses hung on othe outside of the tunnel. He felt like he was going though a big cage. When he'd reached the end he was suprised to see that there were carosel horses strewn about in the tunnel. Must be from the amusement park. He climbed the ladder.

Upon emerging from the tunnel the amusement park pretty much looked like everywhere else he'd seen. With abit of a theme park twist. There was a huge rollercoaster high above him, it looked like it had been made out of rotting flesh. lamp posts illuminated the cast iron walkways and small popcorn stands that stood derelict in the darkness. He thought he could hear children laughing, and started his search for Cheryl.

The path twisted through the park. He saw a big ferris wheel in the darkness but was unable to reach it. t was actually active, turning to a happy theme park music that seemed somber in this place. The path twisted some more through the darkness, and then he saw 2 demon children comming his way. Strange, he hadn't seen those since the schoolyard. He shot them both, one round through each head, the .28 rifle rounds smashing their skulls.

The path ended, and he found himself standing infront of the carousel. The horses stood silent and fierce on the ride. He stepped on it and started to look around... and there was a wheelchair..
and Cybil was slumped in the chair..
'Cybil!' Harry yelled, and started towards her. The ride started up suddenly with a jolt, throwing Harry to the floor. He realised it was going round. How strange.. then he saw Cybil stand up. Was she drunk? She slowly loped towards him like somekind of zombie.. aimed her weapon at him, and fired. Harry was stunned. She had missed, but why did she fire!? He lept to his feet. 'Cybil? It's me, Harry..' and then he saw it, a large lump of flesh sticking out of her back, wiggling.
Like the nurses in the hospital, he thought. She's been taken over. And she's going to kill me.

She shot again, the round going low and clipping the burned floor of the ride, just barely missing him. He had to return fire. Cybil wasn't Cybil anymore. Harry suddenly never felt so alone. He raised the rifle, and pumped a round into her chest. Cybil went down, and didn't get up. She was dead, and he was alone again in this nightmare.

[edit: in this part, one could use the red liquid on cybil instead of killing her. the red liquid would actually dispell the parastie from cybils body and she would stay alive, thus getting the good+ ending. however this ending does not work with the events in SH3 so i decided to just kill cybil off, getting the Good- ending]

The ride stopped, and harry got off. He wanted to scream, wanted to smash, wanted to cry. he wanted his daughter, wanted to get out of this nightmare... and there was Alessa. Right infront of him, grinning like a spoilt brat.
'Harry' she said, and walked towards him. 'Harry, Cheryl says she loves you, and you must leave Silent Hill. You've done to much damage.'
Harry raised the rifle, trained it on her head. 'Did you do this?' he asked. Alessa simply shook her head. 'I told you' she said, and raised her hand. Somekind of force shot out from Alessas hand, knocking Harry several yards back. He landed on his back, quite stunned.
Suddenly something very strange happened. The Flouros, the strange, useless item Harry had recieved from Dahlia, started to glow, started to burn hot in his pocket. It flew out of his pocket high above Alessa, and a beam of light shot out of it and hit the girl in the back. She fell over, screaming. And there was Dahlia.

'You've been a bad girl Alessa' Dahlia said.
'Mommy!' Alessa cried. 'Nooo! You will not get it! I will noy help you!'
'Now now Alessa, your little game is over. And we have this nice man to thank for it. Making him think you were behind it and planting the flouros on him was all i needed to do. Now, come with me and we'll put a stop to this. All i need is your power, and since the Flouros has put a stop to your power, you're all mine Alessa...'
Harry was confused as hell. What was going on here!? He didn't have time to think about it, becuase the world was shifting, turning into.. nothing. The whole town around him seemed to be compressing, merging.. and there was suddenly nothing.

Mah ps2 she is gone
