Harry found the door the key unlocked down the hall from the room the demon Lisa was in. Her transformation astonished him, but it seemed to be making sense now, especially with her diary. She was a ghost!! He should have noticed it sooner. So it seemed she had been the nurse looking after Alessa in the secret room, and Kaufmann had her hooked on the addictive drugs. Stop caring for Alessa, i cut off your supply. Very clear Kaufmann. He must have killed her when she went crazy caring for this girl with wounds that wouldn't heal.

Harry stepped cauciously into the door.. and found himself standing in the hospital basement alley with the 6 doors. Well, that's strange. He decided to check all the doors again. First, he tried the door that Alessa had been kept in. There was nothing out of the ordinary. The hospital bed where Alessas charred body was kept, the picture of her, he left the room. The next door he tried had been locked last time. He opened it, and was shocked as he walked into a childs bedroom. There were drawings on the bed, moths pinned in a frame on the wall, a small desk and some toys sprawled across the floor. Was this Alessas bedroom before her house was burned to the ground with her in it? It didn't belong here thats for sure. There was another door, but it was locked with a strange symbol, the symbol of an Ankh, carved into the door. Harry left the room.

The next door. As he walked in, the feeling of hate and dead and pain was completely overwhelming. In was a small square room with a tiny bed and nothing more. But on the walls a child had really let loose in here. There was graffiti scrawled on the walls, ceiling and floor, words like 'HATE' and 'PAIN' and 'MURDER' and all sorts of words a small child should not know. Harry left the room, quickly. Was ALessa kept here as a child, to feed her fear and pain? Harry was quickly growing an urge to hurt Dahlia Gilespie for doing this to the small child.

The next door was locked, and the next lead into a kitchen with nothing up a fridge. On the fridge, seemingly keeping the door closed, was a small ring connecting 2 chains. Harry quickly grabbed the ring. It may come in handy. Suddenly the fridge swung open and something Harry could only describe as a giant squid reached at him with massive clubbed tentacles! Harry fell back against the door, pulled it and dived back into the alley.. right into the laughing demonic faces of several of those demon children from the elementary school! Harry turned and ran down the hall, to the next door, and it was locked!

He turned, the children creatures closing in, laughing, raising tiny sharp dagger, and Harry fired. Once, twice, three times. He didn't even realise he was screaming with rage and fear.

4 dead demon children lay infront of him. One more door to check. Harry reached down and plucked a wooden Ankh from one of the demon children, then tried the last door.

An operating room. And... ghosts!? But wait, these weren't ghosts, Harry found himself watching the ghostly figures of Dahlia, Kaufmann and two other people he didn't regognise standing around the operating table. Was this somekind of flashback? The person on the table was so badly burned that she just looked like a rotting lump of flesh.
The ghostly figures started talking to each other as Harry watched. Definately a flashback.

Doctor/Cult Member 1:
Everything is going according to plan. Sheltered in the womb, the dark god Samael. But it's not done yet. We only got half the soul, the other half the soul is lost. That is why the god lies dormant..
Doctor/Cult Member 2:
And what soul remains captured in that husk, is buried deep down in the subconscious. We can't use it unless we get the other half.
Kaufmann:
Are you trying to say it won't work!? That wasn't our agreement!
Dahlia:
No, no. These are just stalling tactics. If we lend a hand, we will be able to get power. Never fear. The promise shall not be broken. We will get all the power. All that needs to be done is to birth a new child with the other half of the soul.
Doctor/Cult Member 2:
But the power we could draw now would be very weak if we were to tap into it now. We need the other half.
Dahlia:
We'll use a magical spell. Feeling this child's pain, it's sure to come. We'll birth another child like Alessa, and once the two children meet the dark god will be whole!
Doctor/Cult Member 1:
But that will take time…

Right before Harrys eyes, all the figures and the table faded into nothing, leaving Harry to contemplate what was said. Then he noticed it, a VCR and a TV in the corner. He popped in Lisas tape, pushed play.

An image of Lisa appeared on the screen, her head bowed like she was making a confession. Lisa started talking to the screen.

'What is it? Still has an unusually high fever… Eyes don't open… getting a pulse… But just barely breathing. Her skin is all charred! Even when I change the bandages, the blood and pus just start oozing through! Why… What is keeping that child alive? I…can't stand it any longer… I won't tell a soul …promise. So please…'
The screen went dark for a few seconds... and then came back up. Lisa looked terrified! She continued.
'It was Dahlia. She burned her own child! And then she gave birth to another! I can't let her do that to the other child, i can't. I'm going to take the child and run. If i'm caught, he'll surely kill me. Please god, this isn't right, it's not right...' and the screen went blank.

Harry thought he just about had it all figured out.
Of course. It was so easy to udnerstand. Why hadn't he figured it out before. He'd found Cheryl by the side of the road. By the side of the road on the way through SIlent Hill 7 years ago. Cheryl, a tiny little abandoned baby.
So, 17 years ago, Dahlia and her cult did a ritual to birth the dark lord Samael into a child and tap into the gods power. But something went wrong and only half the soul of the dark god came into the child. The child had strange powers and was called a 'witch' by her fellow students ins chool. She refused to co-operate with Dahlia and Dahlia, knowing the power of Samael inside Alessa wouldn't kill her, burned Alessa alive and made a deal with Kaufmann to keep her treated in the hospital basement. Kaufmann got Lisa addicted to the drugs to make her keep treating Alessas wounds. Then Dahlia gave birth to another child and Lisa, not wanting that child to be harmed, stole the child away and got to the outskirts of SIlent Hill before she was killed by kaufmann. The child was picked up by Harry and when Harry and Cheryl came to Silent Hill and hit the ghostly figure of Alessa the two girls merged and awoke the dark god, who transformed the town...

Dahlia had to be stopped.

HAHA i knew they were bringging back a demon god.....but that means he lost his daughter.....

That's right. His daughter was gone from the beginning.
Starting to make sense now eh.
There are a few things that i'll explain after the story is finished, like why the demons are what they are, why the walls in the other world all apeared burned and covered in gore, why Harry saw and interacted with Lisa even though she'd been dead for 7 years etc etc.

Just a money-grubbing bastard. He appears one more time in the story yet, and trust me, he gets a well-deserved, ironic and fitting end.

If you sit still for a long time will Eileen heal?

No, she will not get healed. There is no way to heal her.

HOWEVER, if you place a candle at her feet, the red marks go away. Sadly once the candle burns out the marks return, UNLESS you trigger a cut-scene before the amrks return, then they'll say healed. It's a game glitch.

From what i've read however, there is one DUMMY monster that when you hit it it damages all the otehr monsters. Try hitting all of the monsters until you find which one is the Dummy monster, then kill that one and all the others should die.

I'm all alone . Now I know how all the Silent Hill people feel. Lol.

The Beginning of The End


Harry stood in the childs room again, inspecting the door. There was a small hole in the middle, and then a encraving on an Ankh. He inserted the ring into the hole, and then placed the wooden Ankh he found from one of the demon child into the groves. The door clicked, and opened into a hallway of a house with a staircase leading down. Harry walked down the stairs.

Dahlia Gilespie stood with her daughter in the sacrifical chamber. All the preparations were set, it was time! She babbled to herself..
'Just a little longer and all would have been for naught. It's all because of that man. We must be thankful to him. Even though Alessa has been stopped, his little girl still has to go. What a pity…' she started laughing.

Harry stood behind her. 'Dahlia' he said. Dahlia spun around. Harry inspected the area quickly. Dahlia stood in the middle of a wide hall, and a girl dressed in blue knelt at her feet. Another girl in a wheelchair sat quietly, her whole body and face bandaged.
'Well, well, well. To think you'd make it this far.' Said Dahlia, smirking.
'Wheres Cheryl Dahlia? What have you done with her!?' spat Harry. Dahlia looked confused.
'What are you talking about? You've seen her many times. Restored to her former self. She has merged with the form of Alessa. She's right infront of you.' She pointed to the bandaged girl in the wheelchair.
'Why are you doing this??' asked Harry. He was confused by the two girls. The one kneeling was Alessa, he regognised her. Who was the other girl, was that Alessa too? Suddenly the kneeling girl vanished like a ghost in the night! So that must mean the girl in the wheelcahir was telepathicly progeting an image of herself to draw him here!?
Dahlia interupted his thoughts, ignoring the vanished form of Alessa. 'It's been a long seven years… For the seven years since that terrible day, Alessa has been kept alive, suffering a fate worse than death. Alessa has been trapped in an endless nightmare from which she never wakens. He has been nurtured by that nightmare. Waiting for the day to be born. That day has finally come. The time is neigh.* Everyone
will be released, from pain and suffering. Our salvation is at hand. This is the day of reckoning. When all our sorrows will be washed away. When we return to the true paradise! My daughter will be the mother of God!'

Before Harrys eyes, the bandaged Alessa started to glow! Suddenly there was a loud gunshot, and Dahlia fell to the floor, blood oozing from her shoulder. Kaufmann walked in. 'Dahlia! Quit screwing around and return things to how there were before!' he shouted at the woman. 'Did i ask for any of this nightmare?? No body uses me like that! I wont let you finish this. I bet you can't see this and keep your cool.' and with that, Kaufmann lifted up the glass full of red liquid he snatched of Harry back at the motel.
Dahlia panicked. 'Aglaophotis! I thought I got rid of that in the hospital!'
Harry pieced it together right away. The stuff in his pocket that he's sucked up from the floor of the hospital doctors office, that was this same substance that Dahlia had tried to get rid off. He decided it would probably useful to keep.
'All i had to do was plant if somewhere for you to find. Of course theres more where his came from!' Kaufmann said to her, and them literally tossed the red liquid at the glowing body of alessa.

Dahlia screamed. The liquid splashed across Alessa's burned body. Several things happened then. Kaufmann, startled, steped back. 'But.. that's not supposed to happen..' he mumbled. Dahlia started laughing. The glow around Alessa was so bright Harry couldn't see her, and then it resided and he was amazed. Alessa was beautiful, she was bathed in pure white light, dressed like he'd always imagined an angel might look like. But she started screaming. Screaming in pain and terror. Kaufmann turned and hid behind a very small desk, cowering like the slimeball he was. Dahlia laughed louder. Suddenly a spray of blood erupted from Alessas chest...

He wrote an article in SH3 that also appeared in SH4. You actually meet him after you complete the city i believe.

So what ending did you get? Did you excorise all the demons and let Eileen die? Or did you leave Demons in your room AND let Eileen die?

I got rid of all the demons but she died. I was trieing to save her but I couldnt. I dont wanna ruin anything so youll see what I mean when you get there.

it's already been ruined, i know all about the possesion and stuff.

I wish the endings were like the ones in silent hill 1 where the ending you got depended on whether or not you saw kaufman again and stuff like that. I dont like raceing against the clock to get the good ending.

Yeah, SH1 definately had the best ending system.

Save Cybil, don't save Cybil. Unlock the motel secret/don't unlock the motel secret, etc.

Definatelly made it easier to get all the endings. Unlike two where you either stick close to Maria and do all this stuff and chances are youll still get the leave endings. I saved the new fear file to a different fille so I can keep trying to save her.

Brand New Fear Mode Complete the game on any difficulty, then save the game after the credits.


Chainsaw Beat the game once, save and load the new data. Then, in the Forest World, near the car, search for a cut trunk, the Chainsaw is right beside it.


Cynthia's Special Costume Finish the game with all four endings on one slot. Start a new game and select Eileen's nurse uniform to have Cynthia wearing her special costume.


Eileen's Nurse Costume Complete the game on any skill level and then restart using the same save. Check room 303 for the costume. It can be selected on the 3rd run through.


Eileen's Sub-Machine gun Get at least 9 stars in a Brand New Fear fear file in hard mode.


One Weapon Mode Get 10 big stars in hard mode

Exactly. Everything is a joke when you have the axe. The dogs, double heads, monkey-men, belchers, everything sucks against the might of the axe! I never used the pickaxe, to slow.

Reminds me of the great knife from silent hill 2. I only used it to kill Maria for dramatic effect lol.

Yes the greazly murder part definately takes away from the sexieness plus getting pissed at eileen when three ghosts and hurting you and shes just standing just far enough away so that if you go through the door she wont.

hahah that's really annoying, especially considering you have to go back in for her, and if she's left in a room with enemies she gets hurt by them.
the good part is you can leave her somewhere safe and come back for her later tho.
