Including Walter when you fight him in the levels. Stamp on him a few times he goes down, UNTIL you leave the room, then he gets right back up again.

The Beginning of The End


Harry stood in the childs room again, inspecting the door. There was a small hole in the middle, and then a encraving on an Ankh. He inserted the ring into the hole, and then placed the wooden Ankh he found from one of the demon child into the groves. The door clicked, and opened into a hallway of a house with a staircase leading down. Harry walked down the stairs.

Dahlia Gilespie stood with her daughter in the sacrifical chamber. All the preparations were set, it was time! She babbled to herself..
'Just a little longer and all would have been for naught. It's all because of that man. We must be thankful to him. Even though Alessa has been stopped, his little girl still has to go. What a pity…' she started laughing.

Harry stood behind her. 'Dahlia' he said. Dahlia spun around. Harry inspected the area quickly. Dahlia stood in the middle of a wide hall, and a girl dressed in blue knelt at her feet. Another girl in a wheelchair sat quietly, her whole body and face bandaged.
'Well, well, well. To think you'd make it this far.' Said Dahlia, smirking.
'Wheres Cheryl Dahlia? What have you done with her!?' spat Harry. Dahlia looked confused.
'What are you talking about? You've seen her many times. Restored to her former self. She has merged with the form of Alessa. She's right infront of you.' She pointed to the bandaged girl in the wheelchair.
'Why are you doing this??' asked Harry. He was confused by the two girls. The one kneeling was Alessa, he regognised her. Who was the other girl, was that Alessa too? Suddenly the kneeling girl vanished like a ghost in the night! So that must mean the girl in the wheelcahir was telepathicly progeting an image of herself to draw him here!?
Dahlia interupted his thoughts, ignoring the vanished form of Alessa. 'It's been a long seven years… For the seven years since that terrible day, Alessa has been kept alive, suffering a fate worse than death. Alessa has been trapped in an endless nightmare from which she never wakens. He has been nurtured by that nightmare. Waiting for the day to be born. That day has finally come. The time is neigh.* Everyone
will be released, from pain and suffering. Our salvation is at hand. This is the day of reckoning. When all our sorrows will be washed away. When we return to the true paradise! My daughter will be the mother of God!'

Before Harrys eyes, the bandaged Alessa started to glow! Suddenly there was a loud gunshot, and Dahlia fell to the floor, blood oozing from her shoulder. Kaufmann walked in. 'Dahlia! Quit screwing around and return things to how there were before!' he shouted at the woman. 'Did i ask for any of this nightmare?? No body uses me like that! I wont let you finish this. I bet you can't see this and keep your cool.' and with that, Kaufmann lifted up the glass full of red liquid he snatched of Harry back at the motel.
Dahlia panicked. 'Aglaophotis! I thought I got rid of that in the hospital!'
Harry pieced it together right away. The stuff in his pocket that he's sucked up from the floor of the hospital doctors office, that was this same substance that Dahlia had tried to get rid off. He decided it would probably useful to keep.
'All i had to do was plant if somewhere for you to find. Of course theres more where his came from!' Kaufmann said to her, and them literally tossed the red liquid at the glowing body of alessa.

Dahlia screamed. The liquid splashed across Alessa's burned body. Several things happened then. Kaufmann, startled, steped back. 'But.. that's not supposed to happen..' he mumbled. Dahlia started laughing. The glow around Alessa was so bright Harry couldn't see her, and then it resided and he was amazed. Alessa was beautiful, she was bathed in pure white light, dressed like he'd always imagined an angel might look like. But she started screaming. Screaming in pain and terror. Kaufmann turned and hid behind a very small desk, cowering like the slimeball he was. Dahlia laughed louder. Suddenly a spray of blood erupted from Alessas chest...

Alessa fell to the floor in a painful cry as her mother laughed on. Harry couldn't see Kaufmann, the weasel was hiding somewhere. This was all up to him. Suddenly Alessa arched her back and her chest let forth another splash of blood, and the hidden parasitic god within her burst out of the dying child. It was only the size of a pebble! Then it started to grow, to twist and form wings, legs, horns. In a matter of second it was fully formed, flapping it's monstrous wings and flying above the dying Alessa. Dahlia laughed on as the beast turned it's horned, snouted head towards her and roared. Lightning shot out of nowhere and struck Dahlia, dead.

This was NOT good.

Harry did the only thing he could think of doing as the demon god turned it's head toward him. He started running towards it firing the rifle. Fear was a distant memory, the only thing he had left was to kill this THING. He couldn't allow it to live. But how do you kill a god? A lightning bolt thrashed down to the floor besides Harry as he dived to the side, firing a round that punched through the demons snout. YES! Then Harry watched in terrified amazement as the wound closed itself!!

NOT good this is NOT good, he thought.

He didn't notice as the woman who was formerly Lisa stumbled into the room with hungry eyes.
Neither did he notice as Alessa got to her feet, the wound in her chest healing just like the demons.

Harry was on his feel running again. The demon lifted one Taloned hand and literally threw liquid fire at him! Some of it got on his sleeve and he batted it away, took another shot. The wound closed again.
He was a dead man.

Samael threw another lightning bolt at Harry. Harry couldn't avoid it. This was it...

But the lightning didn't strike him. He saw that Alessa had somehow stopped it with powers of her own! The god began to howl in pain. She was killing it! Her face was that of pure concentration. Sweat beaded down her face. The demons skin started to peel off, the muscles burning away. It fell to the floor, dead.

The room started to cave in. With the death of Samael, the world it had created from inside Alessas womb began to die with it. Alessa collapsed to the floor, obviously dying herself. She'd used her last ounces of strength to kill that thing. Harry ran over to her as fire started to rain down from somewhere overhead. He didn't know what to say, but he didn't have to. Alessa had one last suprise for him. She reached into her robes, and pulled out a newborn baby from seemingly nowhere, and handed him the baby. A light appeared somewhere in the darkness and Alessa pointed to it. She wanted him to survive. With this birthless child.

Harry picked up the baby, and started to run. He ran as fast as he could and didn't look back. Fire and debris rained down on him but nothing touched him or the baby.

Alessa watched Harry run to the light. A firey piece of wood collapsed from somewhere above her, and as it fell down to kill her Alessa smiled. Thanks to that man she was able to stop what her mother had wished, and was finally able to rest, free of the tortured dreams she'd been having of fire and death. She was free.

Kaufmann saw the light. He got up to run, but something tugged on his arm. He turned. 'LISA!?' he cried. 'But, but you're dead, i killed you myself!' Lisa did not reply, she snarled at him, still soaking with blood, and Kaufmann tried to run but Lisas death grip was to strong for him. She pulled him back into the darkness, back into hell with her.


Harry stood by the side of the road.
Odd. He remembered seven years ago, this was almost the exact same spot where he and his wife had picked up the little girl he called Cheryl. He supposed that this little girl was also Cheryl, but not quite. Where Cheryl was half of Alessa, this girl was 100% Alessa, the full thing. But what should be call her?
His wifes name.
He would call her Heather.

And without turning back, Harry started walking down the road, away from Silent Hill, to start afresh with this new child who held a dark secret.
Heather.





17 years later.




Heather sat in the restaurant of the mall, looking out the window. SHe should get back soon, but she was so sleepy. Just a quick nap. The necklace her father had gave her with the red solidfied liquid in it dangled around her neck. For luck, he said it was for, but she suspected it was more than that. He said he'd found it in a liquid form around the time he had found her abandoned on the side of the highway, and had it turned into a pretty gem for her.
What did he call it? Aglothicus? Something like that. Anyway she loved him as a father more than anyone could love a father. He was the best and she really should be getting home to drop off that stuff for him.
Just a quick nap.
She was so tired. Not sleeping right lately. Weird dreams about a place covered in fire and filled with monsters.......

Questions that need answering:


1: What Happened to Alessa?
Dahlia Gilespie gave birth to a girl using a ritual to birth the girl with the seed of god inside her. As such Alessa grew up with special powers. Her peers called her a witch at school. When she was 7 years old Dahlia explained her purpose and Alessa would have no say in it, deciding she did not want to help Dahlias evil plans. As such Dahlia locked Alessa in her room in her house and burned her alive in a great fire that wiped out 5 blocks. Dahlia knew that the power within Alessa would keep her alive, but in a state of unconciousness. Living, Dead, until her 17th birthday when the god would be released.

2: What is Cheryls role?
When Dahlia burned Alessa, she discovered that only half of the soul of the dark god was within her. As such a new child was born with the other half of the soul and once Alessa became 17 the two would merge into one entity and birth the god.

3: What was Kaufmanns role in this?
Dahlia made a pact with Kaufmann, the director of the hospital, to keep Alessas body tendered to in secret under the hospital. Kaufmann chose a nurse who was addicted to the drug 'white claudia' to look after Alessa. The fact that Alessa was alive, but dead, drove that nurse crazy. That was of course Lisa.

4: What was Lisas role in this?
Lisa tendered to the burned corpse of Alessa for sometime, addicted to the drug only kaufmann could supply her. She slowly went insane trying to heal the girl who had wounds that wouldn't heal. Lisa discovered that Dahlia gave birth to another child, and didn't want to see the child have the same fate as Alessa, so she stole the child and ran to the outskirts of Silent Hill where she succumed to her drug addiction and left the child by the side of the road. That child was Cheryl. Lisa was shortly after killed by Kaufmann.

5: So why was Lisa in the story?
Lisa in the story was already dead of course, but she was the only person who was ever nice to Alessa and as such when Alessa created the nightmare world, Lisa was alos created out of the memories of Alessa. The Lisa that Harry interacted with was nothing more than an illusion.

6: Why was the nightmare world created? Who created it and how?
Alessa created the nightmare world, NOT the dark god inside her. The nightmare world was basically what Alessa remembered of Silent Hill, merged with her dreams of being burned alive, and the deep hatred boiling inside her for what had happened to her. It was merely an illusion she had created. The main reason was to spread the MARK OF SAMAEL subconciously across the town.

7: The Mark of Samael?
That is what Dahlia called it, but it was actually the seal of Metatron. In her burned state Alessa was not idle. She created a nightmare world to hide from Dahlia in, and then spread the mark over the town. The mark actually STOPPED the dark gods influence over the town. Dahlia had to find the form of Alessa in the town that Alessa had basically projected into the town out of her body to spread the mark. Dahlia needed to stop the mark being spread, and Harry was the perfect pawn to use.

8: How did Dahlia use Harry?
Dahlia tricked Harry into thinking the Alessa ghost he'd seen was actually creating the nightmare world to spread the dark gods power. She planted the mystical FLAUROS device on Harry which would destroy Alessas projected self and stop the spreading of the mark, thereby allowing the dark god inside Alessa to grow.

9: What happened to Cheryl?
When Harry drove into town the projected Alessa stepped infront of his car to meet the other half of the Alessa soul. Basically there was never a Cheryl, just two Alessas, and when Harry crashed the two Alessas became one Alessa.

10: Why did Alessa so Harry images of his daughter?
Alessa gave Harry all the signs of his daughter all over town, like the phone call in the school and the images in the mall, to make him think that his daughter was still out there and therefore help him help her by killing the demons in town and giving her a free path through the nightmare world she accidentally created from her tortured mind.

11: Demons? Why the Demons?
Here's a quick refereance to the demon meanings in the game/story:
DOGS/BIRDS/APES/LIZARDS DEMONS:
In a file found in SH it gives referance to the fact that Alessa when she was little visited a zoo and it scared her so bad she had nightmares about killer animals for months after. These were representations of the animals that scared her.
DEMON CHILDREN:
In school all the children picked on Alessa. In her tortured burned state the demon children represent the hatred she had for all the other children.
DEMON NURSES/DOCTORS:
All the doctors and nurses in the hospital, as far as Alessa was concerned, were partially to blame for the way Alessa had turned out. She thougth they all knew about her suffering all all played a part in it, besides Lisa of course. The demon docs/nurses were actually the REAL nurses and doctors of the hospital and Alessa had trapped them in the nightmare world and infected them with parastites like her own that made them lose contol and want to kill everything.

Heather:
Heather is the unborn child of Alessa. As Alessa died she used the last of her strength to resurect herself as another child, a whole child, to give herself one more chance without pain or suffering. Heather was intended by Alessa to be free of demon parasites or powers, but as Heather finds out as she nears her 17th birthday, she is no different than Alessa.

Heather IS Alessa.
Alessa is the mother of god. Alessa is the daughter of god.

Well, not the beginning, but when Heather first meets Vincent in the building before getting home we find out her 'father' is actually Harry.

i dont remember any scream. i do remember going by this door with scratches on it with the dead dog inside. then theres this evil growl. that scared me both times. but i still didnt stop playing like some people *cough*KCET*cough*

I probably would have picked it up and played it more if it had ingaged me like silent hill 2 did.

Yeah it wasn't all THAT exciting eh.

yeah SH3 bored me more than the others. it was pretty much a straight forward game. no free-roaming. thats why it was so short. it took me 7 hours, but the first time the editors from PSM played it, it only took them 4

I wish Silent Hill 2 was longer. You got into it and you relize its almost over.

That's what made the first and second ones the best. FREE ROAMING!
There was less free roaming in SH4 than there was in SUPER MARIO BROS.

Edit: I played on normal and it took me about 5 hours and two of those were the motel because im stpid.

Dude, in SH 1 the shotgun was in the school in a stall with a dead body.

Are you sure? I can sort of remember a gas station way out of the way with a weapon in it but meh your the silent hill god so i dont know.

i never even bothered with the paper cutter. what a lame-ass weapon that thing was. who in the hell would wanna use it anyways? there was no point to putting it in the game.

There was the draw bridge with a ROCK DRILL in it. A gas station with a few rounds but that's all. The steel pipe was at the end of the alley.

I like how Henry can equip weapons with a flick of the wrist :PNo I never got the chain saw because I rented it and it took me all of the days to beat it once.

The rock drill was in the station area. The chainsaw was in the window of the chainsaw shop next to the church. You had the gas enough for one or the other.

the first i rented the game, me and my bro played it all night, but we didnt finish it. we rented it again and beat it without getting hurt once. it was quite an amazing gaming experience

My Silent Hill game would have you starting in a forest, free roaming the forest.

Instead of the lame forest in SH4, you could go anywhere pretty much. You hear noises in the forest, unnatural noises. IT's dark and you only have a flashlight to see by.

Eventually you stumble across an old, worn down wooden shack in the woods, and then the nightmare begins...

Ive always had this vision of a long dak dark hallway with all these scary noises and a light at the end and you have no flash light so you just have to go straight. It might not sound scary but the way it is in my head it is VERY VERY scary.
