Chapter 3 ends when harry finds the notes at the end of the road from cheryl, and it also includes a quick intorduction of Dahlia and Alessa.

Chapter 4 takes you through most of the school, ends just after the nightmare world starts. I'm going to write one more chapter on it, then we'll see what Konami says about publishing.

Silent hill is scary.-

Yeah. I mean while I was playing Silent Hill 2 I had too pass out from lack of energy to even consider falling asleep.

i didnt really find SH2 that scary. some parts were jumpy, like when the demon things crawled out from under the cars, but there werent many other parts that scared me than that. i think 2 was more phsycologicaly twisted.

Yes, completely. In 2, there was a constant nagging fear in your mind. You don't want to go through that door because you don't know what's on the otherside. Etc. That's the best kinda fear, it lingers with you constantly so that when something actually does make you jump, it's worse because you were expecting it. Or if something happens, like Maria gets murdered, it has a higher impact on you.

I dont like things playing with my mind.

I've decided that sometime this week i'm going to not play SA, i'm gonna get pretty stoned, and then play through SH2 and see what kind of impact it has on me.

I like getting completely immersed in videogames, and i've found that weed can really get you into the game.

For example, i smoked abit and then played some SA, and i jumped off a building doing some skydiving and it actually felt like i was there freefalling, it was so awesome! And scary.

So i want to feel immersed in SH. SO i'm gonna play my faviourite SH, under the influence.

well, real people were getting killed in the movie...and GTA isnt "real" people, theyre just videogame characters.

She doesn't like the fact that you play a person killing innocent people.

In no movies she likes, like RE, is the main character someone who kills innocent harmless bystanders.

Burnside after about an hour or so of the silent hill games doesnt it feel like the scare factor is gone completely or is it just me?

I still get a jump from time to time walking around a corner where i KNOW there's something there and then get hit by behind or something. And sometimes it's still a little unnerving going into a room that you know is infested.

But yeah, pretty much the scare factor is gone. It's because we're used to it completely, we know what is coming and what to expect.
