thanks for the link, and hey i never even noticed his tounge....any shots of the eyes on pyramid head?
Walken
Theres quiet a lot on the forum. Heres a link to a thread where it was discussed

Clicky

The picture can be found 3 posts down.

You'll also notice that in the game Pyramid head has a flap at the front of his pyramid, which moves up and down in some scenes, and that he has what looks like a bolt on the bottom left side of his mask.

Okay guys. Found this on an easter egg website...

You know the men's bathroom with the savepoint inside Toluca Prison? Next door is the womens bathroom, go inside look around, then go the the last stall from the door, (It should be closed.) and knock on it 3 or 4 times then walk towards the exit. Make sure to have you're volume up high so you can hear the treat.  (It will now do this everytime you enter and knock on the door once)

I never did this. What is it talking about and what is the treat?

Nothing special. I did this. You knock three or foru times, turn to leave, once the shall is out of sight, someone screams from the stall. Feenix did it, she said it scared here. laugh.gif That's it.

QUOTE
And new info on that creature. (apparantly its called Prizoner in the official guide)

In the jail there are two halls filled with jail cells, the one on the top of the map, upon entering you should hear a loud thumping and deep voices. Ever wonder what they are from? Apparently we have an invisible monster in the 4th cell from the left door entrance (in reference to the location on the map, James' head should turn to look into it as you pass by) Equip the wood plank get as close to the bars as you can and start swinging, you should hear cries of pain as well as see blood start to pour out of nothing as you hit it, the footsteps and voices should also stop.

It's on a popular silent hill forum in one of the admins threads so I think its quite reliable.

Try it. Right now.
I just did. Nothing happens at all. I'm telling you, there is nothing there, it's been proven, pictures have been taken showing nothing there at all.
The blood however may have been added in a later copy, that is quite possible, my copy is the original and in the later copies more stuff was added, but it's 100% proven there is no monster in any version. Sound effects and blood can still be added without there being an actual monster.

Okay guys; remember what Burnside said about hacking games and changeing camera angles?

Well heres Pyramid Heads back...

And this link will show you the body in the chair from a great angle.

I'm rolling through all the old threads on the silent hill forum

Burnside, heres something you might wanna check out:

"after James fights the two Pyramid heads, if he heads out of the door on the right hand side - (it dont matter which one anyhow), but in front of him is a locked door, is that Marys face on it???????????or Marias?"

I'm afraid i don't know what you're talking about. I haven't seen Mary or Maria after the Pyramid fight until you get to the top of the hotel.
Walken
They discussed it further and said that if you go through that door it looks like a demon face of Mary. I'll see if I can find the thread again.
Walken
Here we are, Burnside.

Don't click that Yona; to many spoilers, lol.
seeking
ooh i was just about too lol, spoilers for which? ive beaten 2 and 3
BurnSide
haha that's the whole topic?
Well, i'll check it.
It doesn't matter which door you go through they're both the same.
Hold up, checking now...
Walken
Oh yeah, I'm thinking of Yona.

Go ahead and click it, seeking.
BurnSide
Doesn't give much spoiler anyway, it just talks about a face that may or may not be there.
I checked, didn't see crap. After you leave the room with the Pyramid Heads, you have a long hallway to walk down, there is no wall infront of you. Mary is talking in the background. Then you go through a door, into the main corridor of the apartment building. Again, no face here, anywhere. Go out the front door, and your outside, heading up the fire escape. No face to be seen here either. And that's it.

Guess i missed where it was supposed to be.
Walken
Lol, k.

That forums suprisingly short of ammo. It only has three pages of threads. Tis a shame because its a very good forum.

hey i fell into temptation last night...i rented silent hill 4, i know i know, but silent hill 1 is practicly non existant anymore over here, and i really dont want to wait the two weeks or what ever for the game to arrive (ive been gettin that itch, ya know),

yona do not proceed anyfurther

i only played up till when the girl you meet in the subway goes into the bathroom to puke and the two dogs jump out, its pretty good so far id say...this was the first time ive played any sh at night and i must say it really does add to the game, i love the opening movie, and the cut scene with the guy that comes through the wall in the living room...it really creeped me out!

my opinion the game is starting off pretty good, but like ive said im like 20 mins into it, not even, so we'll see how it goes for me. wish me luck thumbsup.gif

BurnSide
I was really happy with the game up until around about the end of the second 'level'.

Indeed the first part was well done, i like the 'room' part, as well as the first set of movies, but it goes downhill.
Still, glad to see you're enjoying it. grin2.gif Definately play at night, its much better.

Yeah it did! laugh.gif I had the volume turned up loud. lol
BurnSide
hahah awesome.
So have you gotten past the prison yet?
Walken
Yeah, the concept was great, but the game was boreing and repetative.
jpalz
Still, the feeling of "Is this a dream?" was very well done. And the story sucked me in till the end. That's why I liked it.

Oh!, and sh was meant to be played in the night original.gif
Walken
Yeah, but that exsisted in evrey Silent Hill.

Yes. Yes it was.

I've decided that I'm going to write my own silent hill screen play, on the beleif that I can do it better than Robert Avrey, as a dedicated fan of the series whose not getting paid and truly understands the depth. Surely thats worth a lot more than a multi-million dollar writer ? grin2.gif
seeking
^honestly i think so...i really dont think a screen writer should even had been used for the movie, they should have hired the konami team to do it
Walken
Actually the kanomi team will be reviewing all of the scripts andf working in close terms with robert avrey, the writer.
jpalz
Really? Sweet!!

I hope Akira Yamaoka writes the music for the movie. I've said it like a thousand times (Burns knows it), the movie would lose a lot without him.

Oh! Walken, here is a link to download all of the SH soundtracks. It has some really weird tracks around here so you might want to check it out.

Walken
Sounds great, I'll download that later, thanks thumbsup.gif
seeking
hey im still on sh4...havent had much time to play...im only at the forest section....i absolutly HATE those flying bug things
Walken
I hate SH4, period. no.gif
BurnSide
Oh yeah those bugs are stupid.
Fox Lupine
I just started SH4 today. In truth I never get far in the games before thowing in the towel (I will complete this one) and I'm just where Cynthia's called asking you to save her (creepy stuff. Who names their child Cynthia?). As for the bugs, are they seriously that bad?
BurnSide
No, they're just annoying.
Yeah, Cynthia called, she says she'll give you a token, because you need one to follow her into the subway.
It's cool when you go back into the hole, and get the token. That part really creeped me out at first, probably more than the rest of the game.
Fox Lupine
I started SH and made it to the meeting Cybil before getting feaked out
I started SH2 and got to the apartments (I WILL continue someday!)
Sh3 I'm at the mall
and now SH4 which I will continue later. Is it just me or does SH love to incorperate slutty women?
BurnSide
Well, i don't think there were any slutty women in 1 or 3 were there?
And in 2, it was one chick, for a very important reason.
Fox Lupine
Admittedly you win there Burnside. But still, was Cynthia nessercery? I know she dosn't stay in the game (my bro played for a while) so is she just there for the slutty element or what?
BurnSide
You find out more about Cynthia long after she leaves the game. Her role is important, and the fact that she is 'outgoing' is what lead her to her downfall. So yeah, it was nessesary.
Fox Lupine
Fair enough. One other Question though. the super of the apartments is Frank Sunderland. Is this guy actually significant or not?
BurnSide
Yeah, he plays an important role in the story as well.
seeking
SPOILER FOR SH4 BELOW

are you talking about when the hole got bigger? because if so i know exactly what your talking about, i thought that part was really cool

END SPOILER OF SH4
BurnSide
No, i'm talking about the part when Cynthia calls and says she'll give you a token. tongue.gif
seeking
oh haha, i know what your saying...i was like wtf? my phone is ringing?
Fox Lupine
Yeah! the damn phone works when you're NOT calling 911!
Walken
Lol, That hole did get very big. I began to wonder if I could take things from my apartment with me down there; the fridge for example.

The forest and wish house was the furthest I got before I lost intrest. It's got nothing on SH1, 2, or even 3.
BurnSide
Shame, you should at least have played through the first half of the game mate, theres some really awesome scenes, like Braintree getting electrocuted in his chair, THAT was a good scene.
Walken
Maybe I should.

I saw that guy get burnt. That was awesome
BurnSide
Yeah that was pretty fun.
Someone dies in each senario, that's part of the ritual Walter is using to resurrect his mother. Cynthia first, then Jasper in the forest, some fat dude who tortured kids in the next area, then Richard Braintree gets electrocuted, and finally Eileen, but she survives, the only survivor, and she's the last victim. So then you need to protect her and go through the worlds again to escape, because she cannot follow you to the apartment, and you meet all the ghosts of the victims who died earlier.

It's actually a pretty cool idea/story when you think about it. With better controls, a flashlight, and enemies on par with SH2-3, then this would be a great game.
Sadly, it's not.
Walken
Yuppers. It was a cool idea and would've worked if the team had put more thought into the game. SH2 was genius. They must've had a team of geniuses working through the night comeing up with the plot and storyline. SH4 felt like it was a sturdy frame covered in junk with some action thrown onto it, before a few shock-scares, but nothing as intense as the tension of SH1 and 2, and a couple of badly drawn-up characters. Vola, Silent Hill 4: the room!
BurnSide
To be fair, you really can't pass that much judgement having only played not even a quarter of the game. Seriously, try it again, and actually play it through. The second half, while repetitive, was the best. I loved the demons in The Room, it's really cool.
Walken
I read up on those. They sound sucky. Doesnt it get annoying to have to do that? I also heard that if you don't kill them all you'll get a differnt ending.
BurnSide
It's not sucky, it's really cool. The best part about this game for me was wondering around the apartment, getting freaked out by ghosts. There's TONS of different ones, and some of them were really freaky. Finding them was alot of fun, as was getting rid of them.

Yes there are 4 endings in the game, determined by 2 things; wheather Eileen dies or lives, and whether you exorcise the Room or not.
Walken
Ah, like whether Dr. Kaufmann lives or not and whether you exorcise Cybil or not...

I'd like to see the SH team make a game in which you saw all of the variables. The plot holes. I'd like to see what happened to Kaufmann you didn't go to rescue him from that dog, or what Cybil did when you wernt with her. What Dr. K did after meeting harry in the hospital and what Daliah did through out this time. It would be fun if they remade it like you said, and it would completley rule evreything if they made it with new scenerios; one for Cybil (which I think was origonally intended) and perhaps one for Dr. K if they're not afraid to leak some more of the plot.
BurnSide
I agree. They did that with Resident Evil, and it worked wonders, the RE Remake is in my opinion one of the greatest games ever made. If they did that with SH1, ahh, bliss.
I really don't see why they wont, it only makes sense really.
Walken
Yuppers, but with the way things are going I don't think they will. Please let them bring back tee old flavour with SH5....Please....
seeking
im betting that konami will feel they are copying the re series to much if they were to create a remake of sh1....i would love for them to do it though because then i can actually find a copy, eh
BurnSide
Let's hope eh.
Walken
Theres been a lot of old game re-makes, but since SH and RE are rivals you might be right, seeking.

RE has always been more succsessful than SH, probably because it has a much wider audience. Perhaps thats why SH has adapted to become more like RE in later years....
