Well, if you've been burned to death the least you can have is an incredibly shi*** subconcious.

Burned to the point that you are a living piece of charcoal meat spewing blood and pus 24/7 being kept alive in that state for 7 years with nothing but your own mind to keep you company.
Yeah, i'd say her subconcious is a little more twisted than Walters who... was abandoned as a baby and grew up being tortured as a kid and learned about crazy cult rituals.

Wow. This thread was almost on the 3rd page! Cant let that happen.
Anyways, i found this awsome SH fan film. Its divided up into parts, and so far, theres 4 parts. Its entirely in CG. Ive only watched the first part so far, but it is very disturbing, i actually jumped at one part
Im warning you now, these files are pretty big, and if you have a slow comp, it will take a hell of a long time to download. Lucky for me, i have DSL

You also need Quicktime 6 or higher to view them.
One last thing, i think that part 1 may have something wrong with it. When I was viewing it, i was almost at the end, and at 8:22, it skipped like a dirty disk in a dvd player does, and my quicktime locked up.
Anyways, enjoy!

Yes they are. They bring out all the creepiness and suspense from the games, which i didnt expect. If the real movie is anything like this, then i will be more than happy.

Right now I'll watch them. Thanks for the link Shake!

Now, a quick question: How would the SH be with Uwe Boll directing it (besides the fact that it would be total crap)? What would it have?
Shakezulah
Aug 1 2005, 12:42 AM
It would be nothing but horrible acting, lame atmosphere, and insane, tricked out and pointless action scenes.

Hello Again. Been Awhile.
I have an idea to use in my Silent Hill story that i don't think will hurt the story in anyway. I just wanted to run it by you guys first before i put it in there...
Once pioneers came to the Americas and claimed the land for which the Natives called The Place of the Silenced Spirits, they learned of the Indian's rituals and forced the Indians to teach it to them. The Natives shared their knowledge of the Nahkeehona rocks and of the holy lake in which they lived near. The pioneers take over the religion, renaming the stones and make the Indians leave their holy grounds. The explorers find large mounds in which the Indians buried their dead in by the lake, and dispose of these mounds in the lake. They chop down the trees and make a small settlement. It is at this settlement, a place that's name has been lost in the tides of time, that The Order is formed. A religion is formed around the rocks and the lake. A man who rises in the ranks of the clergy named Samael writes a book called the Crimson Tomb stating the rules of a religious group named The Order. He even proclaims himself as god and makes laws for the European Settlement. Later, however, people become hostile towards The Order and its extreme views. A woman, suspected as a witch and Samael's mistress, named Jennifer Caroll is burned alive by Christian believers in an act of vengeance towards The Order. Yet Samael still preaches his ways until about 1700, when another uprising takes place. A fatal disease strikes all of New England directly afterwards. The disease is apparently Smallpox. Smallpox forces the Europeans away from the settlement, and Samael and his teachings disappear. Years later, The Order is resurreacted in the same place by the lake. The town was named Silent Hill, in respect of the Indian's title for the holy place.
Any problems with that? IF so, please let me know.

Yup, though as a fan you must remember the day it was almost banned. Remember the guy who killed his baby with a drill and hammer? Twas sick, but because he was playing Silent Hill shortly before a lot of bother went in Kanomi's direction.

8/10.
I guessed 26 for Marys age, and it was 25. And i said 6 bosses, but it says 8. However, it counts 6.

QUOTE
The correct answer is 8.
There are: Pyramid Head 1, Pyramid Head 2, Papa Orosca, Monkey Men, Maria or Mary, and Eddie.
... i definately count 6.
Unless Mary or Maria would be 2? But then that would be 7. Maybe they're counting three PH's? But then you'd have to count 3 MM too, and that would be 10.

I'm gonna go ahead and say 9/10.

Everything we know about it is in the link Walken posted.
And that info is almost a year old. They're being completely Silent about it. Which is alright, i like suprises. Konami are smart, they make smart games for smart players, and they don't screw up and leak images, information and trailers on games that aren't going to be released for 3 years *cough*CAPCOM*cough*

There was also the rumour that it would be about a pacient in a psychiatric hospital that would remember via flashbacks what he went through in Silent Hill. Good idea

As for info in the movie, I just checked on imdb.com and found out that Akira Yamaoka will compose the music for the movie.

That's good, really good. Without him the movie would have lost A LOT

Anyways, I'm pretty sure they'll release a soundtrack. Almost every movie today is released with a soundtrack right?
Shakezulah
Oct 2 2005, 09:02 PM
Yeah they are, but with a movie like Silent Hill where almost all of the music is going to be original score for atmospheric purposes. Very few movies with a score like that have soundtracks released, unless it's like LotR or something. I'm really hoping this movie will be an exception.
jpalz
Oct 3 2005, 02:49 AM
Mmmm.... there are way more movies with that kind of music, not just LotR. Examples: the soundtracks made by John Williams, Hans Zimmer, etc. An original song made by someone know doesn't hurt either
Shakezulah
Oct 3 2005, 03:41 AM
That's why I said LIKE LotR.

I know that's not the only movie soundtraclike that, but you get what I'm saying.
But check this out. I was looking on IMDb when I found this new interview with Roger Avery, the producer of Silent Hill. It doesn't really tell a whole lot about the movie, but it gives more insight as to what it will be like. Read it at

I'm not sure if its that one, BS. It's the one that plays in SH4 when you find Cynthia dead.
I just hope the SH movie has some good music like the games, I dont know what I'll do if its a cheap rock band that I've never heard of.

Oct 6 2005, 11:15 AM
Don't think so. They'll probably go with the atmosferic soundtrack, given that Akira Yamaoka will do the soundtrack for the movie. If there's gonna be a vocal track, he might want to do it with Melissa Williamson (the girl who sung the vocal tracks in 3 and 4).
BTW, the song you say isn't called "Room of Angel" (that appears when you find Eileen almost dead in her apartment). It's called "Fortunate Sleep- Noone Disturbed Her Death"
