Does anyone know which website it was that had a Silent Hill 'Jukebox', that allowed you to directly stream all of the Silent Hill soundtracks?

Hrmm. Not really. I frequent alot of sites that allow you to just download most tracks, although if you have limewire you could get everything in a matter of minutes.

I listened to the Soundtrack to SH3 all night last night, it came with the game.

I love the soundtracks. I don't know why, and I know it sounds corny but many of the songs are extremely emotionally touching.

That doesn't sound corny at all, it's absolutely true. If it wasn't for the songs 'You're Not Here' and 'A Letter to My Future Self' i never would have gotten through my breakup with the ex. Not to mention the music is mood-inducing, the music tracks themselves like 'Promise' and 'Theme of Laura' for example in SH2 have the ability to make you feel and think a certain way, it's really amazing.

Even some of the titles of the songs alone (Rain of Brass petals, for example) create such vivid imagery. I don't know if it's because the music is associated with the games or if it's the music itself, but it's amazing either way.

I've seen alot of talk lately about the NEW Silent Hill game scheduled for an October this year release. Called 'Original Sin' it's apparently supposed to be a direct remake of the first game, but with Rose as the protagonist.

It's practically been confirmed in development, but here's the catch.

So many people have been crying for a SH remake, myself included. So.. you'd think it would be a pretty stupid idea to put it as an exclusive to PSP wouldn't you.

If they were to remake it, it should at very least be a PS2 release. PS3 desired. Not PSP, it'll just end up looking like a slighty updated version of the same game, not the freaking amazing remake we're looking for.

I don't know if that's good news or not. I'll wait until I actually see something before I say anything bad about it, though.

No. They're just aiming for Fall release, all i know.
I'm sure all will be clear at E3. Which, i might add, is VERY close. And i'll have several souces sending me info again, so we'll know everything revealed on everything.

I can't believe that it was almost a full year ago when you started that big E3 topic and all the gamers were discussing everything in there. That was one of the best times I've ever had on this forum. Hopefully it will be as fun this year, too. You have a lot of sources, Burns, and I will be checking Gamespot every 10 mins since that's about how long it takes for new info to be up....sometimes even less. I can't wait to find out what will be revealed.

If anyone is still interested, i've been writing a little more of the Silent Hill 2 novel. Previously i wrote up the intro and James' introduction, and i've just finished Angela's intro and her conversation with James. I thought it would be interesting to write it from Angela's view. Please bear in mind that certain things said and done in the game can be taken different ways, and this is my personal representation.


So if anyone wants to read it, here it is. I'll post again the first part too if requested. It's not too long.

The tombstone was weathered and distorted by the endless attack of time to the point that it now looked like nothing more than a curiously shaped rock protruding out of the ground. The writing on it had long since erroded along with the memory of the life it should represent. Another story lost to dreams. Just like all the other graves there, it served no purpose now other than to warn people there was a body buried under the sun-starved grass. Angela didn't know why, but she could not pull herself away from this grave. She stared at it with a mixed feeling of dispair and envy. It was cold, lifeless and stagnant, an unfair monument to whoever's name it once contained. Not for the first time, Angela tried to pull her gaze from the stone and walk away, but as she did so she felt a sudden tinge of guilt and turned back to it. She didn't even know how long she had been looking at it. Was this particular grave special to her for some reason? She tried to remember, but nothing came to mind. She wanted the answer to miraculously carve itself into the stones face, but of course nothing appeared. Angela sunk to her knees and gently touched the stone again. The grass was damp and left muddy marks on her dark red jeans but she didn't care, she had to know about this grave, somehow it was connected to everything that had happened to her.
"Excuse me," a man's voice broke the silence of the graveyard from somewhere behind her. Angela gasped and lept up in suprise, her long dark hair falling over her features. She turned to face him, barely able to make out his figure through the viscid fog that perpetually swept over the yard. She tried to find her voice, tell him to stay away, tell him she was sorry for everything she had ever done, but the words were hard coming and felt like glue in the throat. "I.. i'm sorry I.. I was just..." The man stepped closer, allowing Angela to take in his appearance. He was a sad man, like her, probably the same reason he was here.His eyes were filled with sorrow, his face a mask of lonliness and anguish. He was like her.
"No, it's okay," he said to her, raising one jacket-clad arm in a jesture of kindness. "I didn't mean to scare you. I'm just, kind of lost."
Angela frowed at him. He did seem lost, but not just physically. There was something not right about the man, as if he'd been searching his whole life and he didn't even know what he was searching for. "You're lost?"
"Yeah," the man replied. "I'm looking for Silent Hill, is this the right way?" She watched him point to somewhere off to her right, probably to what she knew was the path to Silent Hill, next to the church. The path she had come down to get here.
"Umm, yeah." Angela looked back at the road, and shuddered a little at the thought. "It's hard to see with all this fog, but there's only the one road. Next to the church, you can't miss it."
The man nodded at her. "Thanks." She watched him start to walk in the direction of the old church, just barely sticking out of the fog at the end of the graveyard. With each footstep he destroyed the painful silence of the lawn, and she immediately felt thankful for his presense.
"But.." Angela wanted to warn him, tell him to stay away, but again the words still caught in her throat. What could she tell him? He wouldn't believe her anyway. No one ever believed her. The man stopped and turned his body slowly back to her, his pained face searching her own, maybe for something that would help him, some memorable words to set him on the right track. "Yes?" he said. She had to tell him.
"I.. I think you'd better stay away. This, umm, this town... there's something wrong with it." She mentally kicked herself for not being able to express herself as she wanted to. "It's kind of hard to explain, but..."
"Is it dangerous?"
"Maybe... and it's not just the fog either. There's... there's something..."
The man held up a hand, and smiled at her. It wasn't a pleasent smile. Angela had seem that smile many times, like someone patronizing a child. She hated being treated like a child, it had happened all her 20 years of life.
"It's okay, I got it." He took another step, away from her.
"I'm not lying!" Angela burst out, the anger rising inside of her again. He was just like the others. No one ever believed her.
"No," said the strange man, "I do believe you. It's just, well... I guess i don't really care if it's dangerous or not. I have to go to Silent Hill either way."
Angela frowned. "But, why?"
The man turned right around to face her. "I'm looking for... someone."
"Who? Who is it?"
"Someone very important to me," replied the man with a tired sadness in his voice. "I'd do anything to be with her again."
Angela nodded. "Me too, i'm looking for my Mama." She widened her eyes, a little embarrassed. "I mean, my Mother. It's been so long since i've seen her. I thought my Father and Brother were here, but i can't find them either." Angela let her gaze wonder over to the tombstone again. It was like a chest full of mystery. She shivered a little and wished she'd worn more than a white sweater as the coldness of the fog swam through her pale skin. "I'm sorry, it's not your problem. Forget it."
The man shook his head. "No, I hope you find them. Really." He turned away from her and started to walk away from her, slowly dissapearing into the fog.
"Yeah." Angela whispered. "You too." She turned away from the man, and started at the tombstone. She stayed there for a long time.

hey to the one who needed pics of PH for his project, my brother is painting a portrait of him, and along his journy searching for pics, he came across this one...its not one ive seen before, so here you guys are

I started working again on small book I began a little over a year ago titled Silent Hill: The History of our Town. It follows major events in Silent Hill's past and puts little small stories to accompany them. I cover everything from the Native American's using the Nahkeehona, the English chasing the Indians from The Place of the Silenced Spirits, the burning of Jennifer Carrol, Patrick and Edward Chester in the Civil War, the executioners who later become the Pyramid Heads, the Little Baroness, and practically everything else.

I have added some things to the history so I could perhaps explain things better, but virtually everything that has been mentioned has remained the same.

If anyone wants a quick read, let me know. I could post some of it on here or send a small copy of it to you or something.

New Silent Hill trailer?!

(Looks like it might be something to do with a new SH PSP game?)

Strange. All it really is is a pan around of a room with one guy standing in it, with music from SH2.

It could be anything really, seems fan-made. But it could also be the very first glimpse of a new game, i can't say for sure.

I will say i have a very difficult time getting excited for anything on the PSP.

The link has been, for the most part, declared fake. IIRC it was a first-look at Silent Hill 2, which at the time was dubbed SH: NXT.

Watch the mans actions closely. He's doing exactly what James did at the beginning of the game. Staring into a mirror, he raises an arm and waves his fingers infront of his face, then leans back and sighs.

As i said, it's a fake. The new footage is real, it was SH2. The rest of the video was all faked together to make the illusion it's a new SH game.

Besides, you can also see it was recorded directly off a monitor, you can even see the pointer whiz across the screen.

I just found a thread at Silent Hill Forum (SHF) where some people have booted SH1 on to a pc and used some software to access all of the files, and they found some hidden images such as this
