The site gallery will be down for several hours today while it is upgraded to the latest version of the gallery software.
If all goes well, it should be available again later today.

The gallery software upgrade is complete, however there are still a number of changes to be implemented which were too complicated to complete all in one day.
Full details of the upcoming changes coming soon, however I can confirm that by popular demand, the gallery comments system will he making a comeback as part of this update.

yeah, same here, i had almost as much fun on the image gallery as i did on here.....when we could still comment.
