I was just wondering who first made you feel welcome when you joined UM?

Phantom was the first person here to make me feel welcome... and I have made many wonderful friends since.....

So I would like to thank Phantom for being such a sweetie and making me feel so welcome - Many ... Many posts ago!!

yeah, phantom was good at makin me feel welcome too...as well as althalus and saruman...o, kismit too

I'd say that Lottie was the first member to notice me and give me some encouragement..Thanks for that Hon!

I was left to my own Device's, Not one person even to this day has ever welcomed me to the Boards

The First PM i got was from MagikMan Cause he thought I had Mulitple logins Because of my Majigery IP thingamy, Then Again cause somone Never Like My smilie Butt Wiggling Signiture.

I was never welcomed, either, invited to leave several times, but never welcomed.

Saruman all the mods, Cuffy ummm cannot remember everyone so I shall say everyone who was around on 13th Oct 03 made me welcome.

Moe was never welcomed warmly nor was he ever adopted by any MOD .
So.....

Moe made his own name. And when gone, there arose such a thread known as "where is Moe ?" And there was much rejoice in the kingdom of Moe

For my part it was KC, Celti, Halo & Homer.

But what mainly made me feel welcome was when I was planning on leaving due to hings i nthe real world . I checked back 2 weeks later and found many wanted me to stay . So I came back and will probobly stay for a long time now

Well, there weren't too many members when I first joined. Seeing as I was a huge pain in the ass from the get go, people probably wanted me to go.

All the older members made me feel welcome, of course once I started being nice...

All you peoples made me like this place, ya know, it's kinna intimadating to newbies, cus you all seem to know each other so well, and this place is soooo huge and has been around soo long. yeah, I was this close to not joining **presses thumb and finger together**

Although Althalus was the first to pm me, thebarman was my first buddy (and a super guy). Lots of others made & continue to make me feel welcome too. Stillcrazy (where are you), Potholer, RA (what a sweetie), Doomie, burnsy, Kis and the incomparable Moe. The Moderators on this site are outstanding for making you feel welcome.

I haven't recieved I welcome here. How did you other people get welcomed and why?
I've been on this forum since Dec.03,2003 , but I still have no friends here either.

i wasn't welcomed either. you see, alot of people come here and post forums called 'NEW MEMBER TO SITE' and stuff like that, which i find pointless, and people welcome them in that forum.

posted a few 'serious' posts

then became a (sorry saruman) off topic poster

one night i noticed that Nxt2Hvn was just short of 1000 posts so i pmd her and posted her congratulations post!

then we pmd each other, then msn then phoned her (scotland to america)

now she is a mod on my forum!

so she was my first buddy!

then thistle and doomgirl came along for the ride,

then daz and saruman too, and cant forget scar

and we cant forget the wonderful bleeding heart, cos without him the glam gang would have no glam central!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

then we took over the chat room and the rest is history!
