Near Death Experiences

When hearing about ‘near death experiences’ you may just think that someone was close to death, a pure common misconception. Near death experiences, or NDEs, are purely an odd instance when one is substantially out of their bodily frame. Such proportions classify NDEs as ‘Out Of Body Experiences’, or OBEs. Many times, one may see or feel sensory vibrations related to the experience they are having. Some people who come close to dieing see light, darkness, feel cold or warm, or a great multitude of combined effects.

What is paranormal about these experiences is many times they can give us clues about what comes after-death, or even more eerily what there is truly “out there”. People under the influence of strong psychological or medical effects when having NDEs have somewhat demented findings, as the brain and various drugs can certainly play a factor in any of these cases. There may be neurochemcial reactions as the brain is deteriorating due to the death, which many believe, can also play a great factor in what the person ‘actually’ feels or senses when they have NDEs.

When is one ‘dead’? That is a question you can only ask a person who experienced an OBE and the person, if any, who saw it. Matching the approximate time and feelings observed and felt by the people would be the effort put forth to roughly find out. Time is a relative standpoint in one’s life, but we no not for sure what specifics play into that, and the ultimate time bomb: death.

Are these sensations the work of some higher being, a plot made out, or a pure human deal? It is probably a combination of so. Our current scientific and factual, even theoretical information on these topics are mediocre… only time can tell what exactly happens in that unknown void between life and death.

What do you mean a plot made out?

I'd have to disagree with you a little on this. Though an NDE may not always happen as a result of being near death or dying it certainly is a major factor.

The trigger of death

The most obvious trigger for a near-death experience is by actually undergoing the process of dying. It is very likely that more near-death experiences are triggered by death than by any other method. Although science has not really been able to define death precisely, there is an established criteria. Sometimes a near-death experience can occur during a surgical procedure where the patient is purposely flat-lined. The condition of the patient meets all the criteria for clinical and brain death. After the procedure, the patient is revived. Sometimes, the near-death experiences triggered this way are quite unique.

Of course there are many other triggers, but death certainly is one of them.
