i know theres a few downloading program that resumes your broken download. But i got a 56k connection and if i want to download a attachment from my email and my internet is slow the email server disconnects me. The email is a protected area so that these download resume won't be able to download it is there any other program that can continue the broken download from webmails etc?

Download Accelerator Plus- When i got disconnected. It automaticly save the spot that i got disconnected. So when you go on. You can continue

Please don't. Download Accelerator Plus (or DAP) is nothing but spyware. For large downloads you want to be able to pause, download
GetRight. I'm not sure if it will work in that instance, but try it anyway

getright is a good program to use. or you could use opera which is a browser that has an inbuilt download manager.
apparently the next version of IE will have a download manager incorperated in it

Or you could just not use Internet explorer ...ever .
Firefox , mozzilla , netscape , sbcyahoo , even the Realone browser integrated into real media player is superior to the browser with virtually no security that crashes at random moments known as Internet explorer .
Firefox 0.9 already has a built in downloads manager . Maybe you should check that out .

ya ... real one would kill 56k . Its still more secure and has better features though .
