I figured since the new counter is up and running, we should have a few basic rules.

• No offensive usernames
• No logging in under names used by site staff
• Forum warnings may be issued to troublesome users who abuse the chat facilities
• Please avoid the use of offensive language in the chat room

Could users also try to log in under a proper name, rather than leaving the default 'anonymous' as that can be confusing. Thanks.

Thanks SaRuMaN. I was also thinking that script wars shouldn't be allowed, since some of these scripts are very offensive. Like mine, lol. That may be a problem in the future, but I don't foresee it being a problem now.

Can the chatroom not be changed so that users can only log in as their UM member names?

No, because the chat server is completely seperate from the server on which Unexplained Mysteries is hosted, the two cannot be integrated in that way.
