I've had two really strange experiences with my cell phone. First one happened about three years ago. We had just put our 14 year old dog to sleep and we were all really upset. One morning, my husband's cell phone started ringing and he checked the caller ID and it was my cell phone number. My phone was turned off!
We still can't figure this out.

The second strange incident happened a few months ago. I now have a different cell phone and number than before. Anyway, I got a call on my house phone number from my in-laws in New Mexico. They left a message on my answering machine asking if everything was all right. They said that they got a call from my cell phone on their cell phone but that they didn't get to it in time so it just alerted them that they got a call from me. Now, I don't even know their cell phone number and I didn't even have my phone on when they said the call came through. No one can figure this one out.

Does anyone have any idea how these things happened or has anyone had similar experiences?

hi beenhereb4. yes cellphones are strange and my grandma's cellphone has done that tons of times. it will be off and it will call my mom, my aunt, or another family member even though its off

Moe's cell phone is possessd as well. Whenever it rings, it plays music backwards and in slow motion. This scares Moe and anyone within hearing distance.
one day Moe was on a bus with many nuns. Then the phone played the bad songs. This made the nuns trace crosses on thier chests
Then Moe winked at a Nun named Sister Betty. Betty whistled at Moe but her dentures fell out. This made the nuns trace more crosses on thier chests.

One time my friend and I were pulling off one of our teenage capers, and I gave her my cell phone. I was going to call her when the coast was clear for her to come over. When I did, as the phone was ringing in my ear I could hear her talking to somebody, noise on the street, and my cell phone jingle ringing. I thought that was odd. She had no idea that she didn't even have to answer the phone to have a one-sided conversation with me.

Another time when I was about 12 or 13, our VCR was broken. When we tried to record shows, the picture was just a blue screen and the audio was other people's answering machine messages. I kid you not, I am being serious. It was just "BEEP! Hi John, I got your message, 8 o'clock is fine. See you then. Bye!" "BEEP! Hi Sarah, call me back" etc. etc. I have no idea how to explain this. Unfortunately, we never heard anything juicy. Just boring people's boring messages.

i had a strange experience with my mobile phone..

i had it in my pocket and was walking around town...all of a sudden i felt it shake and my ringtone came on .....surprised by this i took it out of my pocket and wondered if i should answer it...me being curious, did.

on the phone i heard my mum "are you ok" she said. i was terrified.....i had...recieved...a phonecall

thats really weird BeenHereB4, 2 years ago, the whole family went out (to a church thing) so obviously there was no one in the house but later in the day, my mom got a missed from home...but no one was home...

Could those mobile cases be due to hacking? Nothing interestint like that ever happens to me. Just imagine accidently hacking into government information.

Mine does the same thing. I got a call from my bf last one time. I said what's up. He said "you called me I am returning the call"

Well I was no where near my phone (this was early in the morning, phone had been in another room since the previous night) but as my phone tends to call random people do to the inadvertane pressing of buttons, i checked my call history.

there were no outgoing calls all morning. So his phone must have missed my phone and made him call me not complaining, i like it when he calls!
