who likes the Red Faction games? i absolutely love them. i want to know if anyone else thinks they are as awsome as i do. i like the first more than the 2nd because the story is a lot better and longer but the 2nd game's multiplayer is much better then the first.
also, does anyone know if there is going to be a 3rd game? i think they could much improve on it from the last game. it could have great potential. they could add a co-op mode and some awsome new games for multiplayer and a really extensive single player campaign mode.what does anyone else think about these games?

The first one was awesome, especially for Death Match. I love the blasting through walls. Me and a friend would go into a Death Match, spend 5 mins creating 'bases' in the walls with our rocket launchers, and then attack each others bases, ahahahah!!

yeah thats fun. me and my friends always do that. but we work together on them most of the time. we both be characters that wear red so that we know that its us and we dont kill eachother. but it sucks when geo-mod runs out.

ah, Red Faction, now there is a good multiplayer game...

Late nights at my friends...playing Deathmatch untill the wee hours of the morning...

I've been craving Red Faction like crazy lately. The story is really cool.
I downloaded the demo on PC. Sooo good!!

yup. fantastic game. what you need to do BS, is get RF2 on the gamecube. fun out the ass. lol. the multiplayer is about 10 times better than the first game, mostly because of the good selection of modes to play on, and the fact that you can create and manage your own bots. bad ass fun right there.

I have the original. First game i ever owned for the ps2 as a matter of fact. I love trying not to come in last place against the immposibble bots. OOoh so fun.

i had it for the comp when it first came out... but i think it glitched... i couldn't get past the reactor room part of the game... where you're supposed to go up the ladder, then down, then into the escape pod... hmm... anyone help me with that? thx in advance!

o is that what he was talking about? didnt realize that. the Geo Mod feature was awsome. it sucks that it could run out tho. i hope that if they make a RF3, it comes in more into the major gameplay and it was more expansive. in RF2, there was almost no reason to use it and there were very few places to use it. i dont know why. besides that, it was still a very fun game.

for all you people that play online, im a modder i dont play it anymore, but i used to play by the name of bunny f0f0 and take the opponents flag, fly into the floor, and kill my self so bye bye opponents flag! :-D

i was just wondering. theres been a lot of talk about what RF3 could be like if it ever comes out. does anyone have any ideas that could really get the series back up to the top? any kinda of new gameplay elements or things that can change the genre as we know it?

Really? i havent heard about that. It would be cool tho. Im just waiting for them to start RF3. There are no plans for it as of yet. But if they do make it, it BETTER be awsome.

THQ recently said that they would be making sequels to their owned properties to be released about every other year. This includes Red Faction. Yes, that's right. Red Faction 3 will be released sometime next year! Just reading the news on GameSpot earlier made my heart skip a beat. Hopefully I will have a PS3 by then.

You should definately play it. It's still a great game, and one of the most fun offline multiplayer experiences ever. It's not like you need to play 2 to be able to enjoy 3.
