hello,well.....one night i was awakened by a screaming sound.i looked around in my room and realized that i was on the floor.....to be honnest i was kinda scarred so i took a flashlight(and my .22.....)and looked around outside. and what i saw next scared the &$#* outta me...a 7 ft(about...)tall manish thing with wings ,and its body was grey with red eyes starring right into my soul...i dropped my flashlight and started shoooting at the general dirrection but i dont think i hit it....then i ran inside locked the door and hit in the closet until morning.does anyone have and ideas what the hell happened to me?????

more details, please? for instance, what is the lighting situation around your house? where was the twenty two in relation to your bedroom? how far from the window was the 'thing'? how did it react to the bullets? about how large were its wings? how was your bedroom set up overall?

if i was saw a thing like that, or if i was going to start a thread about a sighting i made up, i think i would be able to elaborate more than a single short paragraph. i also think i would have gotten something a bit more stout than a twenty two.

My only hope after reading of your 'experience' is that you live in a sparsely populated area, or at the very least in a trailer park surrounded on all sides by immediate family members, so that any casualties caused by your idiotic actions would insure the rapid depletion of an obviously undesirable genetic trait. have you taken a gun safety course? when/where?

have you had your eyes checked recently? when/where?

whats the Make, model, magazine capacity, and action of that gun?

What brand and type of rounds did you fire? (IMHO I'd have used 22 Magnums.)

Since it's a .22, whats the cartridge length of said rounds?

lastly, whats the Serial number of that gun? It's public information, so it's nothing you can't say. It should be on the reciever of your gun.
