Can anyone who's got a spare moment and has an internet connection better than 56k have a go at viewing some of the UFO videos in the new media section and see if they play properly for you. They should work ok now on most browser setups.
The UFO Videos can be found
Here. This is primarily a public test to see if the videos work on most people's browsers. Let me know if the videos fail to work in any way. Feel free to try out the audio files as well, although I think they are working without any problems.

I checked a couple different videos and they played very well. I am currently on a T-1 line.
I am using Explorer 6.0

Me too, they play perfectly.
You know, the Unsolved Mysteries theme song always gives me chills when I hear it, everything damn blasted time!

If sucessful, will the clips be downloadable for the public (especially 56kers)?
It'll save bandwidth as well.

The gallery script still needs to be modified to allow direct downloading of the media files, but i'll see what i can do.
As a fellow 56k user i know how tedious it can be waiting for them to load up.

I run Mozilla Firefox, the only problem I had after watching them was going to bed afterwords

Yep they worked and of course I have to thank my younger brother for updating my computer every week. Now of course that won't happen that much since he'll be updating his new computer. *sniff*

Cool linkie didn't know that we had videos. I'm glad that it's Quick Time since I have to reboot my computer to get rid of the Real Time icon. Annoying. My gods I'm off track! I'm gonna check out the ghostie cams!
I use Internet Explorer my sister uses Netscape but Internet Explorer works much better since everyone is saying which host their using.

Doesn't work for me most of the time. Explorer crashes.

Worked fine for me.

I'm using Internet Explorer, and have a cable modem. They loaded quite quickly.
Though I have to say that I think the white thing flitting about in the lower right-hand corner of ghost clip is nothing more than dust or a feather or something (I'd have commented directly at the clip, but I didn't see any way to do so....)
