Sweetpumper, can I ask what/who you use for references? My work never comes off looking as clean as yours does.

I don't remember what I used, if anything, for the tat design. The second one is Diana Krall, I drew from a photo of her.

If you look closely at the tat drawing and then pull up some drawings by George Perez, the comic book artist, you'll see that he has infulenced my work quite a bit.

Ah, groovy. I have a lot of trouble drawing from photos and stuff like that, it seldom turns out looking anything like the people I'm trying to draw. And the tattoo design looked like a comic book theme, but I couldn't place it.

I must now get magazines and practice. You've given me some inspiration, sir.

Okay, in response to Tiddlyjen's idea of drawing pictures of members based on their usernames, I've posted a couple new drawings.

First is Tiddlyjen, I couldn't think of anything really clear, so I just drew a happy girl in a groovy hat. Next is Dot, because Dot rocks, and she needs a pretty picture. Although the moon she's sitting on kindof sucked, so I just posted a detail.


Next up will be Janiel's Rayne and Moe's Zanth, these two are giving me a little bit of trouble.

I think I like the flowers one the most, I haven't done anything like it for ages, would anyone give me some suggestions as to what I can do?

Thought I'd do a painting. Here's the preliminary sketch, and the beginning stage, of getting the face just right. My brushwork is a litty rusty, to say the least. I need to get back into practice.

Okay, here's the finished, more or less, painting. I'm thinking about going back with inks and doing a little bit of an outline. Well, whaddaya think?

I like it, still makes me think of Woody, but you shouldn't out line it with black ink I like it like that. But if you want shadow try coloured shadows like in the "art modern" periode like the expresioniste, it give a "lively" feel to the painting.

That may work, like a Toulouse Lautrec poster. Still, not too terribly disappointed, considering I haven't really painted anything in a couple years.

Bingo like him. You have maaaad skills, I'm drawing a little something I gonna have to modify something.

Here's something I made a while ago:

Here's a little thing with the guys of UM. In the theme of "tex-mex" (A la kill bill).

There Sera as a mystirious "Dager Danger", Janiel with an evil mask that turns him into a monster of destruction(kinda like a shogun riding a bull) and Snuff as the guy with the huge brush(a mix of Clint eastwood and a samurai)[attachmentid=9308]

I'll call it "High Noon"...or not.

Dot do you have a pic of you, I want to add you in the "Too Cute" drawing with Moe and DD.

This one is set in a polar base, set in order to be the first line agains monsters from an Unknown origin. The base is call Serpentaire ( a bird that eats snakes). Fearless Monster Hunter is filming one of the things from up close and giving the thumbs up to the "main cam"[ two black lines under his eyes to make him look cool]. Busy Canadian is on deck preparing to enter it's mecha for some hand to hand combat, a strange "dog" aura is keeping him sharp. The leader, BurnSide, is keeping cool even as the alarms are on red alert, a band on his nose is the only mark left by a close call with a Growler. The logo of the base is on the lower right, under Canadian.

There's three monster, Matchhead a monster that is able to keep warm by burning the outer "fatty" cells of it's skin. Growler four eyes chubby monster that much like a dog it doesn't have pores to let out the heat from within so it must exhale with the mouth open. Finally Gyrodon a huge monster that has eyes on the lower and upper jaw making it able to look up and down when it swims in the cold artic ocean.

well this is one i did today out of boredom.. and a new found intrest in avie animation... (all thx to Yasha for getting me started)

and this oen (since it wouldnt fit in my last posty) is of me.. quick sketch in 5mins coz i was bored beyond belief... and i couldnt think of wot to draw its not one of my favs.. just on the pc.. and it looks bad thx to our crappy scanner *shakes fist at scanner*
