Great work, snuffs. But somehow I don't like your strokes on the bench. (It is a bench, right?)
Try using different pencils.
And you should consider variating the colors a bit.
Make it a bit darker in some areas, and lighter in some areas.
You probably know it yourself, but I wanted to say it anyway.

PS: What about doing some christmas-art? That would be awesome.

This is a drawing I did about 5 years back now. I have been slowly getting some of my artwork scanned so that I can touch them up on the comp.

Good work, man. You're really good with pen and ink, the shading looks natural and is just the right intensity. Is this a character in a story or just a picture?
I've just stumbled upon this thread so don't have time to give any individual compliments right now since I've gone back through ALL the pages. TOO far behind! But sufficed to say there are some extremely talented artists on this forum! Especially some of the youngest artists I am just blown away by. I've always loved dabbling in art (charcoal or ink my faves), but you guys put me to shame.

Thanks Snuffs. I was going through a Fantasy Art stage when I drew that one. It doesn't relate to any stories as I am hopeless at writing.

Okay, hopefully these paintings don't break the forum They were all done between sophomore and junior year in high school, before I discovered that there were different brush sizes, and I didn't have to slather on paint as thickly as possible.
This one is called Skybaby1
This is elephant.
