I like your style. But you mess up the female shoulders, they are too malish, no, too big and round, i find. And for your last drawing, wheres the womans other foot ?

I told snuffy in a PM that the woman's foot is stuck in a cloud. Poor woman...

Only Biz shall know the mystery of the missing foot.
A woman's shoulders are just about the hardest part of the body to draw, I think. Never can get them on the first try.

Do you use real models ? When I was in art school, we always used real people modelling when we were model drawing. Nobody can draw a perfect ( REAL ) human body without examinating and keep on looking at the real thing...After a while and with enough practice you will become so good that you can do without a model.

I taught myself how to draw. I took some classes in high school, and one in college, but I've never really worked from a live model. Most of what I know about anatomy I learned from studying the old masters, photographs, and anatomy books. In the classes I took I learned about perspective, complimentary colors, and how to lay down the basic forms to build up your figure.
I'd like to use a model, but me in a room with a naked girl, probably lead to a whole different kind of art.

Greychupa sounds as if he speeks from expierence. ... but ... im almost positive that they do not allow nude posers in art schools.... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...
well then. 'okay bye bye now.

Actually, if you take figure drawing in college, you, ah, use nude models, hon. It's okay, sweetie.
Snuffy still loves ya.

Jun 5 2005, 06:54 PM

Awesome. I wonder how many people take that class just to be able to look at naked women?

Ah, there it goes. Had to redo it a couple times.

I REALLY Love the first one!! the perspective is incredible! he way You did the beams of light through the trees in the background, leaving the figure shaded creates a feeling of isolation. I really like it! Well done Ausaria
