Yesterday evening my mom and I went to Kmart to get a DVD. I went to the bathroom and she went to the DVD section. When I walked out of the bathroom I turned and thought I saw her. I followed her but when I sped up it seemed she sped up too. Then at the end of the check out aisles it looked like she turned to the left and disappeared. I looked in all the aisles but couldn't find her. Then I looked around in the kids clothes and didn't see her. Then I went back to the check out aisles. Then she paged me and it turns out she was up at the front check out the whole time. So what did I follow?

Someone that didn't want you following you around everywhere who you mistook for your Mum, so she gave you the slip, or simply turned a corner and around something you didn't see.

That's what my sis said. But it had the exact same clothes on as she did. I guess it could have been her and I misjudged the distance between us.

I'm just waiting for some other crazy post in here from some woman who was in a Kmart with her kid(s) who had to go to the bathroom, then suddenly someone that looked like them started chasing after her so she ran faster to try to ditch her kids...

Aren't there ghosts of the living though? That's what I though it might be. What are they called?

I'm sure I could be wrong and I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but are you referring to Doppelgangers?
| QUOTE |
Doppelgangers are ghostly doubles of living people and look very similar to the ghosts of the deceased. In some cases a person will come upon his own doppelganger who is typically engaged in some future activity.

A friend of mine said he saw me at the art museum. I haven't been there yet, but I have been wanting to go there since I moved here. I told him it must have been my doppleganger! lol

Truth be told, I have never even heard of a doppleganger before in my entire life. I was going to say that maybe it was a ghost, but now I am not sure. Does anyone have more info on these dopplegangers?
