I can't bet against Belichick and Brady in the playoffs(especially against a team like The Colts who haven't been able to figure-out The Pats defense in the playoffs yet)....not when they're THIS close to making it to the big dance AGAIN!!! Personally I have no desire to see The Pats win another SB...I AM a Dolphins fan.....but you can't deny, and have to respect and admire, what Belichick and Brady have been able to do together.

I think it's time that the real Rex Grossman makes his presence known.

That would be yes.

The Colts will beat the Pats again...The Pats secondary is always picked apart by Manning, and they finally found their defense.

Saints will kill the Bears. Period.

QUOTE
I don't mean Indy stopped their offense I mean Baltimore's offense has been pretty much non-existant all year.
If you haven't noticed, Baltimore has had a pretty decent offense all year long.

QUOTE
Oh yeah, note to LT. You don't say "look, I'm a respectable person" about yourself. Other people say it about you. He was just pissed because he thought, for sure, that he was going to cap his record season with a Super Bowl. So was it too much with the Pats celebration? I think you'd have to know what was being said on the field. Colvin told the press that San Diego players wouldn't shut up the whole game and he kept telling them wait till the games over. They openly told Caldwell in the week before the game that they were making Super Bowl plans and they already had tee-shirts made. Shawn Merriman does an idiotic dance everytime he does anything, and they all have the nerve to say "act like you've been there"? To the Pats? See they celebrated at the right time. When they won the game.

What team DOESN't make t-shirts? And if you have a problem with Merriman's dance, then you should be against whenever Brady pumps his fist, or any other Pats player celebrate.

The Pats celebrated to early, and they got a penalty to show for it.

QUOTE
that Brady can throw three picks, have an all around horrible game, and somehow the team will will itself to victory.

The Pats didn't win that game...The Chargers lost the game.

Peyton Manning will fall apart like he always does in the big game. HE cant handle the pressure and i KNOW he isnt sleeping a wink this week because hes having nightmares about the Pats.

It'll be a good competitive game, and neither team had a problem moving the ball against the other's defense........TURNOVERS!!!....as always(and as was the case against The Chargers) turnovers will decide the winner on THIS game.

QUOTE
The Pats didn't win that game...The Chargers lost the game.

I guarantee you that fact isn't much of a consolation to The Chargers players.......bottom-line is all that matters in the playoffs......they lost...they're out.....that's the stark reality of the playoffs.

It's gonna be a great game, no doubt about it......wouldn't it be the funniest damn thing in the world if the game came down to a last-second field goal try by The Colts and out trots Adam Vinatieri... laugh.gif ....I can hear Pats fans rectums puckering-up now.....but I don't think it will come down to a last second field goal, I think that The Pats will be able to run the ball against The Colts and keep them off-balance juuuuuuuust enough....and the defense will do the job when they need to.

Ya know, it amazes me, The Dolphins and The Pats have had some great games against each other, and lord knows that I've been to my fair share in The Orange Bowl(yeah, I'm old) and the newer Dolphins Stadium...but I must say that I have NEVER seen the amount of Pats fans at Dolphin games before like I have in the past 5 years....I guess winning 3 out of the last 4 Superbowls wins you ALOT of new fans, lol.

I'd like to believe that, but the Saints secondary is a big weakness. If they can run the ball well they have a chance.

Teams don't make SB champ t-shirts when they haven't even reached the AFC Championship game. That's just pompous. I have no problem, per se, with Merriman's dance, though I think it's idoitic to celebrate that much every time you make a tackle, but nobody should complain when someone else does it. The Chargers talked so much BS after the win last year, vulgar swear-laced tirades, and were utterly disrectful of the Pats this year before the game that they had it coming. Merriman said he was going to punch Brady in the mouth in the papers. The Pats didn't say a thing till they won. Now maybe Jason Taylor (the actual DPoY) can send Merriman some popcorn and a t-shirt to, and maybe a syringe.

That's the biggest cop out ever. The Chargers were undisciplined, couldn't run a two minute drill to save their lives, kept making penalties to keep Pats drives alive and were outcoached and outplayed when it mattered. That's football.

Or, it's Ty Law that has more INTs vs Manning. Last time I checked, Law played for the Cheifs yes.gif Almost all the Pats INTs vs the Colts came from Ty Law. Asante Samuel can't stop Manning, as was proven this year.

I still don't think Taylor shoud of won DPoY. The PoY awards should never go to a player who team sucks, in my opinion.

Plus, I think the only reason Merriman didn't get the award was for the tainted supplements issue. He outnumbered Taylor in sacks and tackles, AND missed 4 games.

Of course that's why he lost it, if not for the positive test, he wins the award hands-down.........but now he's labeled a cheater & STILL gets to go to the Pro Bowl.

Eh-until the NFLPA says "here are the only supplements that are approved, this is all you can take, you'd better not test positive for anything else" this is gonna happen every year.

Oh, and any coach willing to go to the Raiders is committing career suicide. I'm with ya on just about everything here........except the picking another favorite team, just wait until that team gets a good QB in the draft and has a year or two to get him ready, The Raiders will be a force again.

The only way that the management staffs on BOTH of those teams is going to get someone in there to be the head coach is if a fresh-faced college coach: Bobby Petrino, Pete Carroll, Kirk Ferentz etc..decide to take the jump....or until Millen or Davis get fired and die, respectively. wink2.gif

Breaking news!

Illinois has just declared war on the state of Indiana and for the first time ever the Chicago Bears will take on the Indianapolis Colts in Super Bowl XLI. The Colts lead by quarterback Peyton Manning who some refere to as "hayseed" and "backwoods" rallied his team to glory in the greatest comeback in post-season history to beat the New England Patriots. Overcoming a 21-3 defecit and the complete shutdown of record-breaking receiver Marvin Harrison Manning switched up the offense and utilized running back Joseph Addai to put points on the board. "That's not a place you want to be" Peyton said in interviews after the game when asked about the early Patroits lead.

Adam Vinatieri, with a perfect kicking record with the post season Colts had a definate impact on the outcome of today's pivotal game along with Marlin Jackson won grabbed the game-clenching interception that insured the Colts would go to the Super Bowl on '07. Jeff Saturday, center, had the unique opportunity to reocove a fumble and flop his way into the endzone for a touchdown.

New England played a great game today and the defense lead by Seymour shut out Harrison who lead the Colts and the league in receptions this year in pre-season. Tom Brady, QB for New England, exemplified the definition of class while congradulating Manning and other Colts players on the field post-game.

Best of luck to both the Chicago Bears and Inidanapolis Colts in Super Bowl XLI.

Tom Brady, after living a full life, died. When he got to heaven, God was showing him around. They came to a modest little house with a faded Patriot's flag in the window. "This house is yours for eternity, Tom," said God. "This is very special; not everyone gets a house up here." Tom felt special, indeed, and walked up to his house.

On his way up the porch, he noticed another house just around the corner. It was a 3-story mansion with a Blue & White sidewalk, a 50-foot tall flagpole with an enormous Colts logo flag, and in every window, a Colts towel.
Tom looked at God and said "God, I'm not trying to be ungrateful, but I have a question. I was an all-pro QB, I hold many NFL records, and I even won a few Super bowls.
God said "So what's your point Tom?"
"Well, why does Peyton get a better house than me?"
God chuckled, and said: "Tom, that's not Peyton's house, it's mine."

A first grade teacher explains to her class that she is a New England
Patriots fan. She asks her students to raise their hands if they are
Pats fans too. Not really knowing what a Pats fan was, but wanting to be
liked by their teacher, their hands fly into the air.
There is, however, one exception. Susie has not gone along with the
crowd.
The teacher asks her why she has decided to be different. "Because I'm
not a patriot fan" she reports.

"Then," asks the teacher," What are you?"

"I'm an Indianapolis Colts fan" boasts the little girl. The teacher asks
Susie why she is a Colts fan. "Well, my Dad and Mom are Colts fans, so
I'm a Colts fan too" she responds.

"That's no reason," the teacher says. "What if your mom was a moron, and
your dad was an idiot. What would you be then?"

Susie smiles and says, "Then I'd be a New England Patriots fan."

Not sure why anyone might be confused or upset over Parcells leaving? He did the same thing in New England and N.Y(Jets)....the only job he's kept for more than 4 years was The Giants(maybe the 2 Superbowl wins had a little something to do with that, eh?). The question NOW is: Who's got the stones to try and go in there and contend with Jerry"hands-on"Jones and T.O. and a mentally-suspect Tony Romo? They've got a problem.

I've always liked Dennis Green as a coach, even when he was an assistant in the San Francisco organization...and as much as I like Dennis Green is as much as I equally DISLIKE Mike Martz.
