I'd love Notre Dame to go win less and fail to score any touchdowns this year just for my sadistic entertainment.

Football analyst owned again most of them said the USC/Nebraska was going to be close.

Are you going jump back to Michigan's side frogfish?

LT is getting owned out out there, by the end of the game reporters are going to be all over him for his smack talking he did all week. Marty Schottenheimer must be laughing real hard at the Chargers offense.

How can you leave Randy Moss open like that near the endzone. laugh.gif

Oh thats a slap to the face running up score Belichick most really have it in for the Chargers. Makes me wonder if LT will say something about it.

Notre Dame is in a world of trouble now if they thought their first 3 games were bad. As for Michigan the Big 10 schedule kicks off next week with Penn State (who Carr and co. have owned the past decade). More importantly? No spread offenses.

I shudder at the thought. It's gonna be a long 3yrs. The problem with Notre Dame for the past decade is they dont really have play makers. Thier recuiting dept. should be sacked. I have watched the caliber of talent drop, I dont know why that is.

Bear's Quest
San Diego has lost its continuity.

I could tell from the Chicago game in the first week how they were not insync, and the play calling on both defense/offense showed no brilliance they had from last season.

When you take away all your coaches that got you there last year(14-2) and spread them through out the league and put in hopefuls, it will in no doubt change the momentum into this season. Obviously it will be slow in building this team back to the way it once was. Hopefully they can hold thier own in its division until then.

In the first two games, the Chargers offense could not get it together setting up the run for L.T. and the play calling needs to utilize all recievers to thier abilities which I didn't see here.

Easy picking for the Patriots to a hyped up game... Oh! and congrats to Billichek for an extension on his contract to stay there until 2013 just after he was caught cheating and fined $750,000. No doubt the amount was kept quiet but compare it to Raven's coach Billick and Bears coach Love's reportedly near $20 million contract extension each.

Tsk..Tsk...Your nitpicking Frogfish, everybody pushes-off in the NFL, all the current rules favor the offense(it's what The NFL wants, more offense), Mike Irvin made a Hall Of Fame career out of it, and it wasn't Calvin Johnson's push-off TD that sunk The Vikes.

I feel bad for Hart, he's a Heisman Trophy and NFL-caliber talent that's gonna get penalized for playing on a bad team, but he'll gain alotta respect if he simply goes about his business and dosen't complain, NFL scouts and GM's will notice those things in a player when he's faced with the type of situation that NFL prospects Henne, Long and Hart are going to endure all season long.

Ok...GREAT win by Michigan over #10 Penn State this past Saturday. The two losses were horrible to take, yeah, but one has to think even if Michigan won those games and ran the table they wouldn't be in the National Title game anyway (with the horrible showings by Ohio State/Michigan last year) over an undefeated LSU or West Virginia team (assuming USC is in the title game). I have a feeling Mallett's going to be great for years to come when Henne (and maybe even Carr, who could possibly be replaced by LSU head coach Les Miles) leave...I love the kid's enthusiasm when he plays and feel as though he will get better and better with more experience (yeah he throws the ball way too hard sometimes, but those huge 3rd down conversions he made against Penn State were nothing but a great indicator).

Couple things regarding the NFL...if not for the Lions' front four their defense as a whole is absolutely god awful (I say this as a Lions fan). And also, what is up with Baltimore blowing big leads in 2 consecutive weeks against lesser teams? Hopefully my guys get well soon though, with Ogden being out and McNair being day to day (Ravens fan as well).

^I think Grossman is done, and other than The Dallas Cowboys, I don't see a really great NFC team playing GREAT football right now, so if Da Bears were to have some problems, now would be the time, and still leave them enough time to correct them, if not, then Lovie can kiss his job good-bye.

Lovie just signed a new contract, he's safe for at least two yrs. I dont know what hes thinking is right now, This will be an interesting week.

If Andre Johnson would have been healthy enough to play, I would have definitely taken them against The Colts in my job pool, but I diddn't...and I still lost...there a .500 team until they get another receiver for Schaub to throw to and a running back not on the downside of his career.

Just as fast as they are jumping on the Green Bay Packers

In California, they're ready to walk away from the Bolts and back onto the 49ers!

I see that happening in Cali. I said earlier in this thread SF is making a move out of the cellar.

You should hear the sports radio in Chicago, greenbay(yes lowercase) is being hailed as the NFC central champs.

As for the saints band wagon jumpers, I say next week, if they keep playing like crap.

The season-ending injuries are mounting, and to key personel on alotta of these teams.

Looks like Lovie is gonna make the move, like I thought, it took 3 games.

Duece MacAllister is out, not good for New Orleans.

Will Reggie Bush break out? Not likely, thier best would be to use him more as a reciever.

With they're offensive line playing so "offensive", it probably wouldn't matter if Bush lined-up at tailback or split-out wide, it begins and ends with the lines, and The Saints OL can't get outta it's own way right now. It's odd how lost Jamal Brown looks right now, kinda like someone shook him up and turned him upside down and took away his playbook. N.O. is gonna have to go with more 3 and 5 step drops in the passing game and find ways to get Bush the ball on screens and draws..in space..beacuse grinding-out yards isn't his game at all.

Unfortunately The Bears biggest problem at the moment..and the short future..isn't Grossman or Griese, it's all the injuries(Harris, Vasher, Brown..etc) on the defensive side of the ball. Changing QB's will have a positive effect on the entire team, it'll be kinda like starting the season all over again attitude-wise.....now all they gotta do is win the game.

I dunno, Fins, I may have to go against Da Bears vs. The Lions this week, just too many injuries to key personel, and what was lost in the whuppin The Eagles laid on The Lions last week is that John Kitna passed for over 400 yards against The Eagles secondary.

I guess when you've had so little to be excited about for soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo long, any little bit is something to hang your hat on, LOL. I still say that the combination of Barry Sanders retiring and Matt Millen becoming the GM has put that once proud franchise back about 10 years, at least.

And once again the Steelers shame me into hiding away all the merchandise for another week. What a stellar performance today. Absolute perfection.

Ben can not complete a pass to anyone but Heinz, the defense has no energy without Polamalu and when their defense shuts down Fast Willie Till the Wheels Fall off Parker we are left with a wonderful loss. It seems like you take one leg(or all of them) off this trifecta and the whole thing crumbles.

Oh and we have a coach standing on the sidelines looking all GQ and showing no emotion its an added bonus.

Nice end to the weekend....Im depressed......and must go into work tomorrow hanging my head....

You can understand why he would be bitter, alotta Dolphins fans diddn't want the coach and G.M. to cut Culpepper, but Cameron and Muller were convinced that Culpepper wasn't the guy they wanted running their offense or tutoring young Mr. Beck. I just hope that Daunte can get his career back together with another team(cause you know it ain't gonna be with The Raiders) and have a positive effect on the league.

Miami's got bigger problems to deal with than Culpepper, especially when a kid like Fargas runs all over them to the tune of 200 yards in basically a half of football. That defense got old and slow in a HURRY.
