They need to beat the Pats and Pitt....Chargers and Seattle will be hard games too...I wonder if they can stop Alexander and LT?

wow do you bet that much money on games like that NME_locus?
I do think the colts can go undefeated this year the stats speak for themselves, but like any game stats mean nothing, you got to win the game. I would not sleep on the Texans its like the Pat's and dolphins game last year everybody said it would be an easy win for the pats. What happened the pats got their asses handed to them
I'm not saying the Colts are going to lose to the Texans. The only game
I think they should worry about is the Chargers cause they got the best player in the NFL #21 LT, and a very good quarterback in Brees right now.

Now you can all say that i am dumb for thinking this but i think that one of the teams that has a good chance this year is the NY GIANTS now honestly, you gotta be with me on this one

the giants do look like a good team but they need to beat a big team. that loss to the cowboys did not make me feel confident. If the giants can show me they can beat maybe the Falcons and the Eagles, they are condetnders in my mind.

Seattle will be just as hard as San Diego for the Colts....
Pick one,
Shaun Alexander & Matt Hasselbeck
OR
Ladanian Tomlinson & Drew Brees
Thats is ONE TOUGH CHOICE!!!!

i honestly think that with the addition of Plex the giants have a good shot. yes they may have lost to the cowboys but the boys do have a good defense. in their 2 losses (giants) they have still did good. i think they are finally pulling it back together

The seahwaks I'm not that sure, but they got a better chance then maybe the pats, steelers, and texans. Its just that to me the seahawks have the easiest shcedule in the NFL in my opinion. So far the games they won are meaningless to me! The only good teams they faced so far is the Falcons. And the only other good teams they will face this season is the giants, colts, and eagles, whether they win or lose those games they win their division anyway.
edit: fixed my grammar.

errm- but i can't see the Seahawks beating the Steelers or the Colts, both have been doing pretty good this year.
having lived near Seattle for 7 years before i moved to PA, i know that teams from Seattle (any sport) usually don't make it to the playoffs, or are the best in their division.

i think that the team to watch is of course the colts. right now it seems like manning is doing everything. that team is really good. and what has been happening to the patriots?

were they not supposed to be some really good team. well i hope that they make it far for the sole reason that they are the defending champs

The pats are trying to get through injuries. When your playing with your third strings I don't think any team will have a good year! If the pats can just ride it out in their division and get players healthy, they might make it to the playoffs with a division win or a wild card, but it seems like the Bills will take the AFC east this year!

ricky Williams is not the runningback we once loved. I think he wants to get benched I don't know if football is still in him or if he even wants to play!
My games today I want to see the colts vs. texans game, but since its a locked win for the colts i'll be watching the Chargers/Eagles game at that hour. Then the Broncos vs. Giants game. This game will prove to me giants are playoff and champion contenders if they beat the Broncos!

i have faith in the Giants. now if they would only remember that they have a good back in Tiki they will do good. 125 total attempts this this and being ranked 23 is kinda hard to take in. He is a good back. At least their recieving is coming along with 240 yrds a game this season. i think that they could do it if they can all pull it together after that tough loss last week

Go giants That was a huge win. I had doubts that bronco team has been on a roll, one thing i noticed with the broncos is they let teams come back they never finish the game. Eli is becoming a fourth quarter type quaterback, though i would like him to shine every quarter a comeback win is always good to watch.
Man the bills lost now i'm lost in who could take the AFC East , the jets sucks, miami suck big balls, bills are great in one game then horrible in another game and the pats are playing injured! At least they are not as bad as the NFC North.
Hey if a team ever eds the season like lets say 7-9 and they win their division do you think they should go to the play offs? I would be pissed to see a team under 500 to go the playoffs while their is a team that might be 10-6 or 9-7 who did not get in because they lost a wild card spot!

Oct 24 2005, 10:19 PM
that was a big thing last year in the AFC i believe. i think they should just get the top teams because it really is not fair for all the teams who did excellent and then they do not make it. i always thought it was a matchup of the best teams.
concerning eli, i think he is just getting better. he is still learning. peyton was not always the best but look at him now. i have high expectations for that man(eli). the giants have a tough one with washington next week but i thinkt hey can pull it off. but then again, after the skins we do have an easy one with the niners so yeah

Stop ripping the NFC north....
All that matters is winning the division, and then the playoffs are a whole oher story...new record...new atmosphere....The year the PATS won there first superbowl, they were 9-7...
Don't be surprised if the NFC north winner goes to the NFC championship (vikes or packs, not lions or bears)
Gianst will probably lose to Washington...they wer eon a better roll han denver, and Santana Moss, Portis, and Brunell are on FIRE!
Santana is on pace to break JR's all-time receiving yds in a season.
That was sad the LT was held to 7 yds rushing vs the eagles....I tip my hat to Philly, but LT should of never let that happen...they should of ran him between the tackles.
for the Pitt and Colts fans PITT ns INDY...Week 12, MONDAY NIGHT FOOOOOTBALLLLL!

concerning the Giants and the Skins. it is a whole different story when it comes to division. you always play harder and the giants will. but seriously, the Vikings and the Packers, if they make it, will not go far. I honestly have more faith in the Bears making the playoffs. but you never know with that division.

Oct 26 2005, 05:20 AM
The Pats were actually 11-5 their first Superbowl year. They won their division and got a bye, where they played the famous "tuck rule game."
I don't know about the NFC East, it's pretty wide open right now. I think either the Giants or Redskins will end up with the division though, the Eagles got killed by the Cowboys and can't run the ball to save their lives.
The North, I still like the Vikings, but they probably won't go better than 9-7.

uh oh watch out they have won two games. super bowl material right here. but we all know that they can never finish the season. oh and they can not beat the Giants. everytime they play the vikes lose. The Giants always seem to ruin the season for the vikes. not much of a season for the giants to ruin this year though

Oct 30 2005, 11:00 PM
i guess you can say that saying the vikes would beat the panthers was wishful thinking. plus to make matters worse Culpepper might be out for the rest of the season.
on a lighter note the Giants beat the living crapo out of the skins. Tiki nearly set a team rushing record. plus the NY defense shut out a Joe Gibbs coached team for the first time ever. now that is some good stuff right there. and here i was thinking that the skins were supposed to have a good defense.
49ers are gonna be the next to fall. HAHAHAHA

Oct 31 2005, 03:17 AM
I never said Vikes will go to Superbowl, only at the beginning of the season

Yes, Redskins do have a good defense, one of the best, they just had a "meltdown", like LT vs the eagles last week...
Whoa, better watch out, the 49ers beat the Bucs on 5 FGs

Eli should be able to top that though....
DAMNIT, Culpepper is probably gonna be out for the year...

i have faith in my giants and i think they will have fun with the 49ers. those manning brothers are just doing really good this year. with the giants addition of plex i think they will keep doing better through the year. if we could only get shockey more involved. he really sparks the team when he does good.

Some people are saying the injury to Donavan is so sever he could miss the beginning of next years season plus he will never play again at the pro level that is expected in the NFL!
Anybody saw monday night it was kind of boring two great defenses and two mediocre offences not that fun to watch. Plus the ravens almost won that game.
Is anybody looking at Denver and their division, I was kind of shocked that they lead their division 5-2, while everybody praises the chargers who are 4-4 as if they are undefeated even the Chiefs are on top of them!
