This post is primarily to answer any questions regarding the posting of news to the news board. When posting news, there are three things you need to remember:

1. Add an appropriate news headline as the topic title.
2. Copy and paste the first couple of paragraphs of the article as a summary
3. Include the link at the bottom of the news post:

Substitute "FULL ARTICLE URL" for the link to the full article, and "SOURCE LINK" and "SOURCE NAME" for the link and name of the source web site. ( If there is no source web site, just remove everything from "| Source:" onwards.

Articles to avoid:

Any article that is written in the first person e.g; "I discovered that..." "My findings show that" etc. This tends to make it look as though it was the person that posted the article to this site that wrote it in the first place. I've had E-Mails in the past from people disagreeing with the article and thinking that I'd written it.

An article that contains anything that could be potentially offensive - racist remarks, offensive language etc.

If you are not a news poster, but are interested in becoming one, then please check out THIS THREAD.

And once again, thankyou to all the news posters for their help both in the past and in the present - it is much appreciated.
