Hi Sam,
I've written a book and am trying to get the darn thing published *grumble*
The easiest way is to pick an area and put an ad in the paper and contact the local radio station. Many people will call in or write, so you can qrrange to go and interview them - do not go alone!!!!!!!
Sadly, this type of subject matter attracts a lot of nutters so always take spmeone with you and never give them your home address or phone number......I know this from bitter experience.........
Hammy x x x

thanks for the advice hammy,
bb sam
just wanted to give this a quick bounce

Derbyshire is easy peasy, they do a fantastic Ghost walk in the city centre. It tells you loads of legends and sightings and is very professional. I did it about a year ago and I loved it!
Also, check out this link for a limited list of hauntings in the UK:

OKAY... i live in |Bromsgrove which is in worcestershire...
Haunted Places round' here...
The Tardebigge Pub (where I work in the holidays)/// haunted to the rooftops///
Grafton Manor... lady of the lake (white lady)
Stoke Prior Church (hooded figure)
The Country Girl Pub
Ye Olde Black Cross (period dressed ghosts)
Hanbury Church (hooded figure, voices, poltergeists)
All of these are known for their activity... it seems rural england has its fair share of sightings. I know for a fact the pub where I work has been investigated... and they got a reader in... found some quite interesting results. Also, hanbury church seems a good bet, although there have been murders in the woods nearby so don't go there alone...
hope that helped!

Don't forget Dudley Castle! Someone told me that was on "Most Haunted" once so you might be able to check their records on it.... I think if you went along you might find someone to tell you something about it or just hunt around the internet for it

Hope that helped,

I think it's a good idea.
Just make sure you either make the book biased, or make it so it's just eye witness accounts, so it's just what people think they have seen.
The last thing we need is a book saying "ghosts exist here for definite because 3 people have seen one"
It would be interesting to see what kind of ghosts people thought they were seeing and what kind of places people think are ghost hot spots as well
