Full Version: The Speed Of Gravity

Although this should probably be posted in the "News, Discoveries and Findings", I don't have access to add a new topic there.

The first accurate measurement ever taken of the speed with which gravity propagates shows that it is equal to the speed of light, agreeing nicely with the Einsteins General Theory of Relativity.

Homer,

Interesting find - it's incredible that even now in the 21st century, we are still finding new things that continue to confirm Einstein's theory. I've heard it said that General Relativity is probably the greatest ever achievment or human thought, and to this day it continues to hold true.

Would you like me to add you to the News Posters member group so you can post threads in the news board ?

Yes you can add me as a News Poster. I was one before on the other system, but never used it. I'm familiar with how to do it, but just never got around to actually doing it.

Thanks Gareth smile.gif
