One day I was returning from school with my mom about 2 1/2 years ago. It was clear, but there were few clouds, but anyway as we traveled along, I looked above the river on the way home. What I believe I saw was some kind of object. I can't really explain it, but it generally spooked me.
I'd say it was about 200 feet above the treeline, and approximately 300 yards away in my opinion. It was a dull silverish object that just hovered there. I pointed it out to my mother, who could give no answer to what it was.
The sighting only lasted about 25 seconds, but I had seen nothing like that before. That night I reported it to NUFORC and such, but I still haven't been satisfied. I don't think my imagination played tricks on me.
We live about 60 miles from an airport, and a small airbase. But I don't think it was related to those places at all. I have seen lowflying jets, and most recently surprisingly a transport plane went over my house at a very low height, even though the nearest airstrip for that type of plane is 60 miles away.
I dunno, help me make some sense out of this.
