Just out of sincerest curiosity, who does and doesn't believe in psi???

I believe some sort of psi ability exists, as well as perhaps independent anomolous forces, which may or may not be linked to our collective unconscious and/or psi, as a whole. I have had only a few experiences myself, with psi, but the circumstances and results were so remote from chance happening that they, taken with countless other accounts (in various fields), convince me there is *something* else, and its most likely a totally natural feature, both of man and perhaps our planet or collective, though one that is apparently not always repeatable for "proper" classification by empirical science.

I said yes, but what exactly do you mean by psi? which abilities? If you are reffering to spoon bending or stuff like that then no, but if you are reffering to spirit communication then yes, absolutley.

I belive in both the spoon bending and the spirit communicating. Just like Jpatt said, There's something else at work in the world that we just dont have a full understanding about yet. I feel it. And I know that millions of people cant all be lying about the same thing. There is some type of force, energy or whatever you want to call it, out there and I think it's up to us to connect to it or not. Whether it be real or not is a matter of opinion but i belive it's well worth looking into

Just because you can do something in imagination
does not mean you can do it in reality.
Just because something happened and you were
imagining it does not mean your imagination
was main cause for that event.
Mind is simply brain activity in my perspection,
which is just series of small chemical and electrical actions.
Highly doubt if it can be considered as noticeable force or power.

Besides, more scientists would been studying on psi than many
cons making money on it if psi was real.

I believe in it because I do all of the exercises and stuff. Its real, I know it for a fact.

I know how to use it, therefore, it would be kind of silly if I didn't believe in it.

I certainly belive in psychic abilites. As for the claims of spoon bending and moving objects simply through thought alone then no I don't. As yet there is not one genuine case of an object moving through the power of thought.

wow phenomenon! this is a side i've never seen before! i like it whenever i think of spoon bending i get taken back to the matrix... it kinda turns me off the whole spoon bending thing... i leave spoon bending to the people who are metakinetic ( i think thats what it is) -people who can bend metal just by lightly stroking it...

bending spoons is a magic trick, i have seen magicians do it

i believe in certain things such as pyrokenisis and telepathy because i practice them but some things are just too outrageous for me to believe such as time travel, walking through walls, and opening gateways to other worlds and dimensions.

I don't buy any of it...but until such time as the combined forces of skepticism and scientism prove exactly what it is we're mistaking it for I don't discount any of it either.

I believe in Kenesis, Spoon bending is just a higher level of Telekenisis, right? The first stages are to lift things. The higher stages are to bend things.

So if you don't believe in Kenesis because you can't bend a spoon, you should try spinning a psiwheel first and then you'll believe. I believe in it even though I can't spin anything...

I believe that some minds are capable of weird things but this Psi ball and energy wave stuff seems to me like you watched to much Dragon Ball Z...if you really had the ability to do these thing you would be raising hell all over the place and dont say you wouldnt, power can do weird things to even the most docile people.
Sorry i just think alot of people want to feel special.

As for proving psi , I used to be on the "I dont care" side ... but now I find myself hoping psi isnt proven for a while . Currently baptist fundies cant even handle homosexuals being on the same planet , I would hate to see what fundies would do to psions if they knew we existed .

As for whenever psi is proven if someone ever cares to try , it wont really matter any more . The minute psionics if fully accepted among all scientists ( Its already accepted by some , but obviously not all ) It wont be a paranormal phenomena anymore . Psi will become more science , as that is all paranormal really is - undiscovered science .

i do believe in psi but people are always afraid of what's diffrent and when it's too late they find the true value...
even though sometimes i find myself forcing myself to believe while i say it dosen't and sometimes i simply know that i believe but as a conclusion i do believe in psi...
but not all of them and i have some doubts in biokenesis (to change eye color and mess with the dna) this i don't quite think it exists cause i have never heard or been told by someone that he has experienced it even though i kinda like the idea

i think biokinesis could exist but just unexplored by most so there arent really any ways to hone it...
