Hi, i'm new to these forums but iv been checking you guys out for awhile anywayz here's my theory on the pyramids i know its a little far fetched and contradicts alot of archeologists but anywayz tell me what you think...

I thik that the egyptians might not have build the pyramids or might have been aided by the Babylonians or the Assyrians who had at the time a higher level of comprehension of mathematics and they were able (lets not try to put aliens in this theory) to build the pyramids with slaves and with the help of the Babylonians that could help them calculate the angle of the stones so they would all fit ...

ok now you probably think im crazy but the reason i came up with this tehry is that Babylonian god representations were found in South America which is one of the only other place in the wolrd where there are Pyramids. Also more similarities between Babylonians and South American were found like statues of Babylonians gods and the same in Egypt like representations of the pharaon with 2 left handed hands (a sing of divinity in Babylonian culture)

So i beleive that with all they have in common these cultures must of been influenced by a comon culture and the only one that makes sense here would be the babylonians.

Now your probably thinking how the hell would the Babylonians get to South America well i would say During the second ice age or perhaps by boat.

Ok plz ppl tell me what u think.... thx alot grin2.gif

Ah, now that is an okay theory.

I hate it when people take the credit away from my people. I wouldn't be surprised if they had help. But I doubt from the syrians, seeing as they and the Egyptians were not exactly friends.
nzKO
well thats what we know of before the second ice age they could of been friends because we have very little to no reference of what hapenned before that time and after the second ice age it also could of hapenned because im pretty sure that the chami (syrians) were not continasly at war with the Egyptians. Anyways i was just saying assyrian because they had similar beleifs and gods as the Babylonians and i dident want my thery to exclude the Assyrian as a possibility anyways i think the Babylonians would be a more plosible explanation than the assyrians in my theory

tell me what u think ppl .... hehe wink2.gif

I personally believe that there was a common culture, that was wiped out long before....there are just too many coincidences. This common culture could have been helped along by Atlantis (i do believe it existed).

yea well my other idea was that a race with higher level of technology build the pyramids but thats just an assomption and i dont have any proofs for that.

I agree, the young architectual king and priest must have been exchanging cultural ideas during their era with other civilisation. It's hard to comprehend of how just 2 people can figure out alot of advance knowledges like mummification, astrology, medicine & architectual. We know how Saqqara was a failure laugh.gif

Actually the majority of ancient civilisations had pyramids. Besides the promitive and early civilisations most have pyramids and they arent similar besides in the basic shape. The most notable are those in egypt and of course you have those in south america, but then there are some in indonesia, china and many many other countries that had ancient civilisations!

The reason that they build pyramids is firstly that they want to try and reach the heavens and gods. But because they only have stone to work with they cant just build straight up otherwise it will just collapse, so they worked out that if they build a structure with a massive base they can build up from that to extroidanry heights but of course they have to stop and cant keep going to reach their gods!

Lol, yes the Chinese did cheat, they just dug into large hills, but basically all ancient civilisations had pyramids, just because they dont get as much recoginition or are as big as the ones in egypt and south america doesn`t mean they arent pyramids!

What undersea pyramids are you refering to?
nzKO
yes i knew china had pyramids but i never knew indonesia had any that is quite interresting im going to look it up on google original.gif but still you must admit its weird that they found drawings of Marduk in south america ?

Wow, I love your theory on the subject. I am sticking with the idea that Jewish slaves were used to build them however. Nice job, though! thumbsup.gif

Your theory is not without a basis. If you look at any photo of ancient Babylon, you will see the "Tower of Babel" at the City's center. Notice its shape!

There is no reason to believe the Mayans also did not have help in their pyramid design. Most fascinating concerning the connection with the Mayans are the similarities of their beliefs and cultures such as: their belief in when all time began - both about 6,000 years ago; both worshiped serpents; the Egyptians' "panther" priest and the Mayans' "jaguar" priest; and much more you can find at the webpage http://onealclan0.tripod.com/end-times.htm.

You may also add to your argument: We are absolutely certain that not all ancient civilizations have yet been uncovered. Some archaeologists believe another civilization preceded the Egyptians in precisely the same place; this belief is based upon the base of the Sphinx; although the Sphinx dates back only to the Egyptian civilization, the base upon which the Sphinx sets seems to be (based upon analysis of rain-friction wear) as much as 10,000 years old.

Actually its not the Mayans who are the really interesting ones. It's the Olmecs the first South American civilization. They built stone faces that appear to be African and Babylonian and had ceramic pottery of elephants an animal not found in South America. There had to be contact between the oldest civilizations. Any major cataclysm would then wipe it out(like the 2300 B.C. event). Maybe we should start taking the writings of the ancients more seriously.
