I've been reading so much on people's alien/UFO and ghostly experiences lately, that I wonder which experience would be more upsetting/scary to you: a ghostly experience, or and alien experience, and why.

Frankly, I don't think I would handle either very well, but I think a ghost would be scarier to me because I wouldn't be able to communicate with it, and I wouldn't know what, or who it was, or how to get away from it.

I would find an alien experience a bit more frightening than a ghostly one. Ghostly experiences (at least mine) aren't all that disturbing. Although, I know there are some accounts that are quite fearsome, but mine are pretty timid.
But, alien experiences are 70% confusion, and the rest is pain, fear, and regret.

Ghosts, I would be so freaked out if a ghost came near me unless they looked like casper or something like that otherwise I would run for the hills.

Aliens on the other hand I would go right on up to and say hello, shake hands or appendages, ask many questions, follow them etc... etc..... I would absoluetly love to meet aliens as long as they dont bring out any probes!

i think ghosts definatly, probably bcoz people relate to ghosts as been bad and scary, because of how the are shown in films.
i believe in ghosts after having a short experiences myself, but dont think i could believe in ufo's unless i saw with my own eyes

i think it's a matter of what job you're in..
if you're a Mr.Postman...none of those creatures scares you most excepted bulldog...

Ever seen the movie Fire In The Sky? Definately aliens....creeps me out just thinking of it.

Aliens are scarier becasue if they look at you STRAIGHT IN THE FACE than a ghost, who would you run from most? The alien!! We all know what they look like, so its scary. Yup, stare into the face(<--url).

Ghost, you know who they are, what they are, and know they were once human(unlike aliens).

extra thought: If aliens would invade Earth, would you think that Ghost's would help defend, like in Lord of the Rings: Return of the King? Let the orcs be aliens and the loyal ghost servents of the mountains be ghosts.

Aliens versus Ghost, I think its possible. Ghost MIGHT attack you, then how wold poltergeists get physical and make noises? Then it wasn't proven they can attack.

After all the replies, now I think I'm stuck in the middle. Neither would be fun!!!

I do wonder if after meeting an alien, long after I had already &*%# myself from the experience, if I would then be so bold as to be all, "Hiiiiii! What brings you by?" I don't think that's so likely.

I dont know which would scare me more, but im more likely to see a ghost than an alien, so meh.

I would pick Aliens they could do anything to u ghosts well lets just say wont.

i would say ghosts are much scarier than aliens. aliens are just cool. but they are also visible. if something was happening o you and you couldnt see what was making it happen, then that would be a lot scarier in my opinion

I'm NOT particularly frightenned by EITHER!!! Living Human Beings scare me more, they are astoundingly cruel and MORE Vicious than any Animal, Ghost OR Alien! I deal with Human Barbarism all the time on my job. It's sad really!!!

No ghosts have ever scared me, nor sliens. So I would have to agree that another human being, is ultimately the scariest to me. Because I have experience being a human and I know what they are capable of. Not so sure about what aliens or ghosts capable of

well i have no idea that ghosts can't hurt me, i mean if it could throw things at me, i saw a program about a ghost that was scratching a guy...

With ghosts, at least we can identify with what they look like for the most part. A lot of people who see them say they look like a transparent person, or some human silouette. We don't really know what to compare an alien to, however. And there is something really freaky abot thier huuugggeee eyes, I agree!

Both would be scary at first, but only because we don't know their purpose. We automatically assume they mean us harm. But I do think while ghosts and aliens are fascinating to think about, it's the aliens that interest me the most. With ghosts, on one hand, they could be proof of an afterlife of some sort, that if we could better communicate with them, we might understand more about an afterlife.

Aliens, on the other hand, also open up other worlds.

Here's another question: If you could have the mysteries unlocked from just one of these beings (their purpose, how it works) which one would you prefer to know more about??

Aliens I dont see how a dead person could hurt you if they have no body to pick up anything. The aliens could shoot you in the foot with a laser beam .

I think i would find a ghost expereince more frightening, cause if a ghost tried to hurt you, what you gonna do, you cant hit it, there a ghost, you would just go through them.
But if a alien on the otherhand tried to mess with you, or put that probe near you, least you can puond its lights out.

I am freaked out by aliens, ghosts not so much. It might come from living up the hill from an indian massacre sight.
