Has anyone had any experiences with dark shadows, usually fleeting - moving around the house? This has been associated with other activity and has moved to a brand new house with us.

I sometimes see fleeting shadows around the edges of my peripheral vision and I was told that it's the start of my third eye opening and spirits are starting to reveal themselves to me. Don't know if it's the same sort of thing as what you're speaking about.
I've certainly never felt threatened by them, more curious.

I've had a little experince with dark shadows and would very much like to hear about the other activity it is causing around the house .
It doesn't appear (in my experience) unusuall for them to follow you to a new location.
BTW welcome to the forum

These things you see are often called "shadow people". You might be able to find more information on them if you search the internet using that phrase.
If you are still around, good luck with them.

I know what you mean by 'shadow people' but I don't think this is the same thing.

Always happy to help, Kismit. Here is a quick synopsis of what I know about Shadow People.
Shadow People are black masses, often quick and fleeting that are seen out of the corners of your eyes. They often do not appear for very long periods and disappear if you try to get a closer look. Some claim that they have seen them head on, although these accounts are far more rare.
The Shadow People appear as tall and slender and pretty much without any definition (just like a shadow). Although they most often appear as just a dark silhouette, from time to time someone spots eyes on them. These eyes are always red, often very bright.
It is generally though that these Shadow People are some sort of paranormal experience, like a ghost. Heidi Hollis however claims that they are a species of alien that have come to this planet. That is part of a greater story about a war among a variety of advanced species, but they are in there none-the-less.

Like I said, I know there are similarities, but the stuff I've seen has been slightly
different. Not like people at all, but like movements and shapes rather than actual
figures.

I don't know if you can still hear the old shows or not but Art Bell did several shows on the shadow people. I'm sure you all have his link but here it is for those who don't

No, BC, unfortunately you can't.

Since Jan. of last year, you can only access and listen to archived shows by subscribing to their premium service, which involves a monthly fee. Although many of his shows were way out in left field, some proved to be quite interesting, I'm glad I was able to hear the programs I wanted to before they changed over.

I don't quite know what you might be seeing Loonboy. It might be just parts of Shadow People, or perhaps even their Shadow Pets.
I have never seen either first-hand, so I cannot comment on any of them might be. Truthfully, I cannot even say if they are three dimensional or not. I would have to suppose that they are, because if they were not we could fairly easily corral them and study them however we wished.
As for the Coast to Coast AM programs, you might get lucky in a newsgroup if you ask, but otherwise you are parting with a few dollars.

I think LB might be refering to the cat like shapes I see leap around at my friends place or the dark shadows I have seen move slowly into a room . Sometimes I know that the things I see are diferent to just a glimpse of something but I wont go as far as to say that they are spirits as such .
Thanx for the links Moose . I have read most of them before .
P.S.There is no denying that Heidi Hollis is a fruitcake with a capital F though

No, what I see does not resemble a human figure at all. I know what you mean by
'shadow people' but what I have seen is not that.
Sometimes when I'm sitting watching television, for example, I will see in my peripheral
vision a moving black shape, usually no more than a couple of feet in diameter, or I
will see a movement at the edge of my vision. I perceive them as dark, but that might
have more to do with how the eye perceives light and dark better at the edges of
vision and colour more towards the centre. The shapes are there for no longer than a
second or two and usually disperse before I get to look at them full on.
I thought for a while it may be my eyes and a problem with the retina, but it has only
come on since I've been going to spiritual development classes and I recently had my
eyes checked and they're fine.
Like I said, it's as if I'm starting to see things that are around us but which we usually
don't see.
Maybe they are shadow people and I might get to see their glowing ruby eyes, but so
far, nothing like that.
I have had two incidents involving shadows both in mates houses, the first one was near Xmas I was in my mates bedroom when out of the corner of my eye I saw what looked like the shadow of an upper torso move across the wall, it looked like it was in a spotlight but there was no light source there.
The other was a few weeks ago in another mates house this time I was in the living room and you can look through the door to the kitchen were you can see the fridge, there is a spotlight shining on the fridge and sure enough the shadow of what seemed like a person went past the fridge in the spotlight, This time it was head on and not out of the corner of my eye there was definitely no one in the kitchen at the time and anyhow I would have seen them pass the door.

What HD describes is pretty characteristic of a Shadow Person sighting.
As for Loonboy, I have heard of nothing like that. I'm not saying it's a case of Shadow Person or Bust, I just don't know what you are seeing and I have never heard of that sort of thing. Perhaps you have discovered something new?
Since you have just spotted them since taking a Spiritual Development class, skeptics would be quick to argue that it is nothing more than a self fulfilling prophecy. It could also be argued that rapid changes in light intensity and colour from a television cause an unwanted effect in your optic nerve resulting in what looks like a dark splotch out of the corner of your eye.
Yeah, Ms. Hollis might be a little bit out there. Personally I like the idea that there are a variety of aliens species with vested intrests in our planet. Perhaps this will ward away the terrible fate of being destroyed to make room for a new inter-planetary highway. Or at least make for an exciting X-COM sequel.

Space moose I had a full frontal experience with something I would refer to as a shadow . Because of this I have no intention of ever believing in the Hiedi Hollis clap trap . I have never had any experience with anything extra terrestrial and don't think that either are even remotely linked . I think Hiedi Hollis is just trying to sell a very unique book. I will accept that these shadows are hallucinagenic in nature or even spiritual but not Alien.
By the way I don't believe the stories of red glowing eyes either as I never saw any .

Darn, it's been a long time since I visited the Coast to Coast website, it's such a shame. Since moving from an area where I could listen to the show during the week to an area where all the shows are aired on stations that have a whine to I kinda feel from checking the website.
I enjoyed listening to the shows simply because at 2am in the middle of nowhere that was the only entertainment around. My favorite shows where about the shadow men and the shows on the ghosts that people would call in about.

That is a really cool pic that you found Kismit. It is the first photographic "evidence" of a Shadow Person that I have ever seen.
I rather wonder what it might be up to in the first frame. It sort of looks like it is leaping around for no good reason. If that is just how they move and they are proven to exist, we will have to change some theories regarding locomotion that we have.
