What's the most important person in Your life?
BurnSide
Aug 23 2004, 02:55 PM
My girlfriend.
I live with her. I share everything with her. I love her, she loves me. We are never apart unless we're at work. We are in constant comminication, weather it's phone, email, Instant messaging or holding hands talking. We go on trips, we go to parties, hit the bars, do EVERYTHING together. She's made my life complete and as far as i'm concerned nothing else really matters in my life. When she makes me happy it makes her smile, she gives me everything and more.

My three nieces and my nephew. I try to spend as much time as I can with them... even taught my nieces how to play Blackjack.

Definitely my boyfriend. He's been such a positive influence on my life, he's just wonderful. He makes everything easier, he helps me, I can tell him anything.
I've never thought any previous boyfriends were "important" before. He's certainly different

Other than my nieces and nephew, I'd have to say that my Mom was an important person to me (may the Fates smile upon her with love and happiness). She taught me to treat people with respect, how to crochet (I like to crochet roses), and the importance of being who I am.
She also encouraged my interest in being creative, and the paranormal.
The most important lesson she taught me was how to face the end with dignity, and serenity. When she finally succumbed to cancer, she was able to say "Good-bye", and "I love you" to my Dad as he sat beside her. I hope the Fates are kind enough to grant me that kind of strength when it's my time to pass through the veil.

We have been married for 6 years and we still make our friends sick by how much we love each other...it is wonderful to have a relationship that has continued to get better everyday...

The most important person (people) are my two daughters, Raven and Falcon... And my hubby.... I feel with him, as though we are still newlyweds.. It just is that good.. He is so different than myself, that it actually brings us closer...

My two daughters Meghan and Michaela

. They both make me sooooo proud to be a father. My wife who lets me be myself and understands that I need to be on my own sometimes...something a lot of women would not easily adjust to.

Of course you don't understand love for children. You're not supposed to.
5 years, you'll see it differently.

How can you "hate" children? I agree that some kids can be annoying or pesky, but to "hate" a child......stranger than strange!

It's a very typical teenage response. I said the same thing 3 years ago. Now i think they're great and i'm looking forward to having my own in the future.

Burn <- I'm 16. I don't believe in it.
gollum <- I don't know. I just get angry in second when there is a child somewhere near me. Half of if I don't hear him/her. Really hard moments become when it's going louder. Arghhhhhhh... I won't have children.

Yup. Exactly the same as me when i was 16.

Trust me, like it or not, your feelings on that matter changes as you mature.
God, when i was 16 i wanted to kick every little annoying screaming child i saw.

I may have said " kids get on my nerves" or "children are not for me" but to use such a strong word as "hate". I can only assume it was written in the wrong context.

Speaking as a 32 year old. When I was 16, I was impatient with little "rug rats"... now that I'm older, I wouldn't mind having a child of my own. Spending time with my 3 neices and my nephew as they grow up has given me much pride in their accomplishments, and happiness.

Everything changes when you mature. Your beliefs, your opinions, your goals.
Man, I wouldn't ever want to go back to being 16.

Huh, maybe it's a local problem. Few days ago, when I was coming from shopping, I saw two little (10-11 years) girls. Both were only talking "Kurwa" what in english means "F$#@". Tell me it's normal. And another - maybe as scaut I must love everythig that moves, but on the camp when I came from the forest night (we were sleeping in the forest because a sort of younger scauts had came to our camp and we must gave them place to sleep for one night) to my tent, I had seen one big place after hurricane. Don't told me I will like any children.

Personally, as i got older, i started to feel alot better towards babes than 16yr olds. They're the worst imaginable. GOD.

Hey, you're normal. Go figure. Everyone goes through the angry, loathing teen years. It's the only time in your life you can be a prick and everyone just understands.
You don't think things will change. But you'll see a HUGE difference in yourself in just a couple of years.
Enjoy it.

Yeah, I don't like kids that much but thats usually cos I only notice them when they're doing somethin annoying, so I realise that most kids aren't like that.
I think I'd probably have kids when I was in my 30s, get a career established, get a bit of money behind me, but still be young enough to have the energy to raise a child.
Ames

Oh yes, and when my sister was my age she used to say she never wanted children, now she's 29 and considering it lol
