I had read an article in popular-science magazine about relations between man and woman. There was many about that, that woman needs a man and vice versa, the love etc. And I've go one question to the UM community: do mankind units really need other people to keep psychical healt all right?

My opinion is: no. If we take the opinion, that men need other men to live, here comes the question: why? If I can do something only with using my hands/mind, and I live alone (without girl/wife/friends/etc), why I need anybody else?

Why would we want to live if we didnt have eachother........

If you were in isolation, or stranded alone, the mind without interatction with other people deteriorates. It's the reason people are depressed, sad etc.

People need other people for the good of their own health. Not just people too, all animals.

Take my ferrets. They get very sad and lonely when they have no other ferrets around to interact and play with.

Heh. Yeah. But without anybody, you don't need to artifical interest on somebody, share his/her problems with yourself... No artifical problems!

Define 'artificial problem'.

If i think it is what you mean, an artifical problem would be a problem created by interaction from person to person. High school dramam for instance.

Humans desire conflict by nature, without that we also get edgy and twitchy and lashout whenever we can get the chance too. It's another example of how much we depend on each other.

Try being alone for an extended period of time.

There is a reason why isolation is the worst punishment you can receive in our prisons. It works, and very well at that.

In the 19th century in American prisons they found a direct corrolation between extended isolation and increased mental illness. Humans are pack animals, we need the interaction with each other to remain healthy...

Try this thinking:
contact = possible conflicts
no contacts = no conflicts, I am responsible only for myself

If we take a model of thinking "animals = people = unity with other", there's a quick answer: an animal's unity is only when survival of the herd depends on unity with each other. For people, contact with other depends only on interest. If I live without anybody, with using other for my interest - I will live.

Humans are social animals who have through their evolution always worked in family groups. Although a few individuals may prefer loner lifestyles, the majority of humans need social contact.

I think we all need friends and family around to keep us sane.

People need each other to survive, and only together will we be able to accomplish anything. Together we can make a differenece and trully do something with our lives, apart we will achieve nothing and will slowly perish!

We must unite as one or we will fall!!!
