Hmmm this is rather ironic, finding this thread...
Because I thought of posting it before, the reason being I was looking through some old papers (poems) of mine and One of the creative writing topics from an old class was "Describe your perfect day".
Well my perfect day sure has changed, from the one I wrote some 10 years ago.
Today my perfect day would be to...
Not ask for perfect things but to enjoy them and be thankful

Well.....

Firstly I would wake up when I'd had just enough sleep.

I'd read the paper in bed, get up check my emails etc.

Have a turkey sandwich for brunch
Go out to the cinema catch a movie or two, maybe go to the art gallery then head off to the hard rock cafe for lunch.

Then I'd go bowling and have a really fun time, then come home stay up late watching movies and eating popcorn with my friends and collapse into bed right at the end of it!

My perfect day....hmmm

first wake up to rain at about 8 or 9 AM (love waking up to rain )
then eat some french toast hehe
grab a pepsi , sit down at my computer, check out UM
call up some freinds and have them bring their comps over
order some pizza
have some more pepsi...
Then spend the rest of the day hanging out, drinking pepsi, eating pizza, and playing video games WOOW

I have to say it makes me really happy to see that what you folks posted as your perfect day is something that is totally feasible...that is really incredibly cool. It says a lot about how balanced each of you are...

For me it is much the same, get up after sleeping just the right amount.

Make breakfast with my wife...

Sit around and read for a while...

Go out with my wife and wander around and get lost...do silly pointless things for the better part of the day..antiques...thrift stores...movies...walk around the mall...

Have lunch someplace new and share a plate of food together...

Come home and have the cats and dog in our laps while we read, or talk or watch TV while holding hands...

Make a nice quiet dinner...

Go to bed early and read to each other...

Yeah, I think sometimes the simple things can be the best!

Hmm, perfect day? My perfect day would be, if I was stranded on a deserted island, with Wun.... tons of booze, and no clothing of course!!

With a teen, a child with ADHD and a toddler SLEEP is the be all and end all!

my perfect day would be a day of just hangin out with all my bestestes (and ppl they wanna bring) and my gf, up at my uncles cabin...ive tried to orchestrate it already...no go...o well...

my cousin claims the best day ever would be waking up to a girl givin u a BJ...he's a strange one

In a forest, miles away from civilization, sitting next to a small, warm lake.
The birds are singing, the water is flowing over some rocks creating a quiet ripple, and my darling Chantal is beside me.
We'd just be together, for the whole day.

Wait, we do that alot.

Hmm, I've been having trouble with this one as there are a number of stuff that would make my day perfect. So here is what I came up with.

Sleep in until at least 9am
A latte ready and waiting for me
Playing on the beach with my son ie. rock jumping, making an inukshuk (always wanted to do that)
Going for a swim or taking the canoe out or sitting on a dock fishing (or all 3)
More latte
Going to a fair and riding the roller coasters with my husband and son
Playing the games at the fair and winning the big prizes.
Back to the beach to end the day with a huge bonfire.
Even more latte

( at some point I would have to go online to feed my addiction )

Wake up about 9:00, to find that its raining and gloomy out, have some leftover cold pizza from Ninos (best breakfast ever) .
Meet thecrewandgreg (my best friends), the rain stops, but its still dark and gloomy out, go to Dorney Park or Six Flags. find $20, have some root beer and Boardwalk fries.
come back home and stay up til 2 watching movies, and its starts raining again while i fall asleep.

That would be absolutely perfect

A perfect day.......
hmmm...it'd be late summer/early fall, so that it's just cold enough that I can wear my favorite sweatshirt and be comfortable. I'd have the whole house to myself. And a really good book that I could read, uninterupted(sp?), til my eyes burn. I love doing that, but it's very rare that I find a book that can keep me entertained for that long. I'd have a couple lilac-scented candles burning, I love lilac. And lots of beef jerky. lots and lots of beef jerky.

feh, it's not much, but it works.

Everyone's perfect days have been so cool, nothing extravagant just having a nice day!

For me, my "perfect day" would be like this:

Doing the things that I find relaxing- walking, reading, watching a movie, see what new books are at the bookstores, maybe checking out the museam and art gallery. I'd end it by sitting on my porch with a glass of wine, and watching the sun set.

Oh... and I'd be doing it with someone special (Me_Again- care to join me?).

In England College is like the place you go to inbetween high school and Uni.

I've just done my AS Levels, got the results last Thurs,

I got:

Media: A
Psychology: A
English Language & Literature: B
History: C

I'm gonna be dropping History and doing A2 Levels in Media, Psych and English, and picking up Film Studies AS

Cool. I'm hoping to back to college and get my business degree... maybe even start on a Psyche or Film degree as well... wouldn't mind getting my English degree either.

I like to dabble. LOL

I'm hopefully gonna do film and journalism for my degree

Psych & Film are way better than English lol, but then I only know AS level stuff

Yeh, Psych is darned interesting.

I like English as well, just prefer the others!

The best thing we did in Psych so far is child psychology when you get to learn about what shapes you and makes you the person you are and that kinda stuff

Hmmmm... My perfect day would be waking up at nine o'clock to find a hot breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausage, and toast on the table all ready for me. I'd go to the movies with a girl who's really nice and pretty and walk around the mall after finding that my wallet's full of money, which it usually isn't. I'd go play laser tag for the rest of the day with my friends and end the day lounging on the couch either watching movies with the girl I went to the mall with (she has to like comedys, too) and fall asleep early in the morning. Ahhhhhh... That would be the perfect day, but it would never happen...

My perfect day would be to wake up on my birthday to breakfast in bed,walk down stairs to find a few cards on my doormat and have a couple of texts to wish me a happy birthday.
Then to spend the day doing what I wanted to do(instead of doing what everyone else wanted to)

Then going down to my local to find it packed with all my friends who are all there to throw me a surprise party.


But it will never happen that way,something bad always happens and I have not felt it is right celebrating it since 2001(my birthday is September 11th.)


The next best perfect day would to spend the whole day with my best mate and just us two.Without worrying about what the time is.

How similar we all are, they all sound great.

Mine would have to be waking up with my husband on the sailboat on a day with temps about 70. The winds calm until after a huge breakfast, and then sailing so fast it makes your heart race. We're at Norris Lake in TN by the way, go scuba diving looking for treasures. After some extracurricular activities...cough... have dinner of crab legs and just relax listening to the water lapping on the boat.

my perfect day would be waking up and hearing the war is over and seeing my grandmother next to me (she died 3 years back) and then later that day i would visit my buddies from the forum in the holo chat room and i would materialize them so they'd be next to me and we would play the x-box and i would whoop tendo in a round of halo. then i would give him my copy of megaman x to brighten up his day and then i would have my eyes healed some how and i would give my grandma a hug and a final goodbye as she fades away thats my perfect day o yeah and pop ups would be extinct lol

eating a simple breakfest
going to our privet beach
maybe going out to a movie or dinner

Don't feel too bad, I constantly have women adding about 6 years to my age when they talk to me. They keep telling me I'm too "mature" to be 32. Mature? Would a mature man sing, "A Boy Named Sue" at karoke?

Maturity is a rare commodity these days, so keep it up.

Uuuuuhhhh... let's see.

I'd wake up around 7 o'clock in the morning (if it's gonna be a perfect day, then you have to live it as much as you can, eh?). In the morning I would spend time with mi family, I would write a little (I'm on a book you know, it's gonna be cool), then go play tennis or golf with my friends. Then one big barbeque that would last 4 hours at least, then I would see a cool flick, and to finish the day I would listen to my fav music.

my perfect day:

wake up early after having 12+hours of sleep, then eating a really good breakfast. listen to music and play video games or something until around 11. then id smoke weed with my friends, then go to the beach and pick up some hot chicks, one of which i would take into a cave onto a beach.... with and then cuddle with for a little.... then smoke more weed and hang out. then at night i'd play a concert with my band and get groupie chicks... then do stuff with them then really late at night id hang out with my friends and maybe do a little heavier drug and watch a frank zappa movie until we all pass out/fall asleep around 2 AM.......

..... my day seems a little off, i know. i havent done most of those things so once if i did them all i one day that would be great....


i really want to get a girlfriend and get high with her and lie down in some shade in a field or something and just look at the sky all day... that would be a fun day
