In May of this year, I had a really horribly vivid dream about a bus accident. I was on the bus with several other people, only this bus felt different than a city bus, it felt more like a tour bus of some kind. I remember the bus driver saying something about alcohol, and I had a drink list in my hand (whoever heard of bus that served drinks?lol) We were driving along, and for some reason the bus swerved, only it went right of a grassy hill with many trees on it, and landed on its side.
The windows lifted out, and the next thing I know, I'm safely above the bus, and no one got hurt as far as I could tell.
I woke up and wrote this dream down just because it really bothered me and I wanted to get it off my chest. The whole time I kept thinking, "When am I ever going to be on a tour bus anytime soon?" not likely. I work and go to school, there isn't much time for that.
Later that month, my mom and some family friends decided that were all were going to take the ferry up to Victoria, BC (I live in WA State) to see the Egyptian museum and have a little mini vacation. We were also scheduled to go see the Buschart gardens.
When we finally got there (last week), going to see the Buschart gardens was the last thing we did, and of course the weather was pouring down rain (it had been beautiful earlier, and then decided to get nasty). Well, I figuerd the gardens were within walking distance, or that we would take a cab. Then my traveling companions told me we were taking a bus. Only this bus was a larger bus more equipped for further distance traveling. My dream suddenly came back to me, and I waved it off as coincidence.
We loaded the bus, and I sat on the left side, and only after I was sitting there awhile did I realize that was the same side I was sitting on in my dream. I had told my mom of this dream previously, and she kidded me about it.
So we got to the gardens, no problem. No tire blow out or anything that would cause a bus to swerve. In the dream, I couldn't tell what had made us swerve.
On the way back, my mom was still teasing me.
The bus driver came on his radio and asked how many people were going to be stopping at the winery. I thought that was strange because of the alcohol mentioned in my dream. We droppped those people off there and continued on.
We were coming down a bit of a hill, and it was slick out, then all of a sudden, the bus driver yells out "Hold sides, hold sides!" which I really didn't get at first, but he meant hold onto our seats. The next thing I know is he's slamming on his brakes and swerved a bit on the road. A dear had run across the road. Only, there was no accident like in my dream when there well could have been. I looked over to the right of the bus and saw a hill with lots of trees and grass, also very similar to my dream .
What I'm wondering is if this has any connection to that horrible dream I had, and why everything fit the dream except the accident part. I'm glad there wasn't any accident, but it was a close call.
Has anyone else ever had a dream that came true, but with a significant part missing??
Any ideas?
Oh, and my mom doesn't tease me anymore about that dream.

hey guess what
i had a weird experience bout dreams i'd like too share...
ok here it goes:
last night i was practicing on my psiwheel and i stayed till 2 am practicing and i had my cousin with me she is only 3 months younger than me...ok so she's a bit skeptic and keeps on telling me it won't work but then she decided to try it too...
ok then at 2 am we decided to go to sleep and i lied my psiwheel between our beds on a small table...and went to sleep...and then i had the dream...i don't clearly remember but i do remmeber blue light comming out of me as being drained or something i dunno and i saw her face either transfering the light or taking it from me i don't quite remmeber but i do remember waking up very bothered and unable to move and as if i have no energy to move or somethin...the time was actually 4 am (i looked at my watch) and then had a cup of water but the weird thing wasn't that i was tired and barley could move but the fact that the psiwheel was moving when we had all windows closed and there was no breeze and still when i woke up it was moving...
anything u might tell me?....

First off, thats very creepy, last time i take a tour bus in this city!
Yah i've had dreams come tru, but VERY small things. Like i saw somebody walking down a street in a dream, then i was on the same street and the same person walked past. Rather weird.
One thing tho, it was awsome that you came to victoria! Oh and about the weather, i suppose it was bad for you, but for me, it had been SOO hot for the past two weeks. That rain was a godlike! I loved it, loved it so much i had to dance in the rain!

Oh, and how was the egpyt thing? Havent been yet, but plan on going soon.

I have dreams that come true about once or twice a month, and most of the time tings happen in the real world a couple weeks after I forget the dream, and then i remember it when it actually happens.
If anyone knows a way to harness this ability I would be VERY gald to hear it, as predicting the future would be really useful.
There are a lot of dreams I can remember being different from the average dream, as if they reflected real life somehow (not neccecarily the future). Problem is that not many of the nicer ones have happened yet.

Its sort of like that desire topic i posted. You've got to really have a desire for it to happen. Not wising it'll happen because that's pointless. Like i said, it has been working for me. When desiring the object or event you want, you have to see yourself in possession with the object or event. And make sure that you have some sort of reward for yourself eg. With my little hotdog incident i made myself seem full and happy that i won't die of starvation.
PS. I do like hotdogs but i am by no means fat, no offence intended to certain people though.

Ah yeah, if you have a local library or something like that near you look and rea the book Think and Grow rich. It might sound way of the subject, but the info it gives can be used for stuff such as hotdogs

Boff-
I take it you're from Victoria? What a neat town! I'd been there before as a little girl and only remembered the wax museum! (the torture area the most!

)
And, yes, I actually enjoy the rain when there is too much hot hot weather too!

But that particular day when it rained was a little bothersome to me because I thought it was going to give good reason for the bus to swerve.
The Egyptian Museum was really cool! You should go to it before they ship everything back to England. I think it's ending early September and I don't think it's coming back. I only wish they shipped over more ancient jewelry. To me, that was so weird looking at a piece of jewelry that you knew someone from thousands of years before wore. It's a must. One thing I didn't mention in my original post, because I thought it was a stretch, but I think it's kind of coincidental, is that I purchased an Egyptian talisman necklace from the gift shop after the museum walkthru, and I didn't realize until later (when I read the description of the necklace) that it was an all seeing/clairvoyant talisman ("Eye of Horus") that was supposed to protect whoever had it from bad things. What's funny is that I had it with me the day we took the bus, and everything happened except for the accident part. I'm sure it's just coincidence, but I still wear that necklace nearly everyday now just in case it wasn't.
And the Sticky Wicket is a very cool restaurant! I wish we had something fun like that here!
Anonymous57: Do you ever write those dreams down so you can look back over them again with better detail? I'm not really sure how to hone in on those dreams either (I also want to know how), but I think keeping track of them on paper is a good start. I wish I could learn to tell between something that really is going to happen, compared to other dreams that seem realistic but aren't going to happen. Maybe there's no way to do that

Did you know that somepeople might clame not to have dreamt anything that night even though they just won't be capable of remembering the specific dream. I've been concentrating a bit on dreams actually and would remeber dreams that made no sense ate all

funny no? Anyway here's just one freaky weird dream.
I dreamt that we each have something called a mirror form (Don't know what made me think of that) i also seemed to be staring into two mirrors, one behind me and one infront of me, i'd naturally see the image of the mirror a thousand times over. Anyhow, our mirrir forms was what we look like now, humans, and that we had a real form, here comes the really funny, a ...., sorry missed something you had to say the magic words before you could see the other persons real form, you say "I see you as a crab" or something in that line anyway. The person would then mutate into a crab and could noe turn back. Weird hey?

mainly all the dreams i have are related to my life or have a lot of magick in them... i had this dream a couple of weeks back n i said something like spectrum n the person went flying backwards... they were picking on my friend.... another part in the same dream i used spectrum again (it was before the other one though) it was some kind of magick exam n i had to do the spell so i said spectrum n then the dvd lifted of the table n began showing pics of the movie... i think maybe ill try that with tk LOL! you never know it could work....

I've had a couple dreams that have come true one about a minute after waking up and the other months after. Well the first one was a tornado I was dreaming about a tornado and one happened about a block from my home. The other dream was about my neighbors getting a swimming pool, this pool was a $4,000 swimming pool same one as at the end of the movie Bad Boys II. I told my mom about the swimming pool dream and a couple months later they got one. I don't even know these neighbors nor does my mom.

flyinghigh23,that was a good idea to write the dream down after you had it.Some people say that dreams are just bits and pieces of what we hear/smell/think/see,etc. throughout our day.....i believe that to some degree....that's why we have some really bizarre dreams that don't seem to mean anything or make sense.
But to dream about a future event, that would be a prophetic dream.I believe some people have those quite often but usually don't realize it until the event happens.Maybe the ones that we are conscious of(the ones we remember or write down)turn out a little different than the dream because we are aware and maybe do things a little different and therefore change the outcome.(?)

Once when I was younger I had dream, I don't remember too much from it, but my family and I were driving down a road and we diecided to go to a swimming pool.
So we drove to a swimming pool, went in got a changed and I walked out onto the pool side. But it was empty. And this was when I either couldn't swim or was just learning to but I started running towards the deep end and my family was shouting at me to stop and I jumped in. Even though I had arm bands on I started sinking to the bottom...
Then I'm in my room, next to my bed and I can see myself sleeping. Next I look up and see myself floating down through the ceiling and into my body. I can't remember what, if anything, happened after that.
Again when I was younger I dreamt exactly what happened the next day in school... Now I suppose what could have happened is I lived the day and the next night I just dreamt what I had done but I remember at the time of this dream not feeling like that was what happened... Cos I remember waking up in the morning after the first time and then going to school and doing what I'd dreamt...
I don't know if they are anything special, probably just something that I've dreamt that felt real... anyway that's probably the most wierd thing that's ever happened to me in terms of experiences and whatnot.

I get freaky deja vu all of the time too! It happens at the most boring times though, like with something I have done so many times before, but that particular time feels exactly the same, even though I know it didn't happen that same exact way.
I've read about theories stating that deja vu is a sign in life that we are on track with what we are meant to do in life, or maybe even the other way around.
