I was checking out this link on pscyhometry and was wondering if anyone has tried it or if there are any other legitimate claims not in the article (i.e. not including seeing into a crystal ball) to it being used.

I've tried it before and have had some success. I find it easier the less you know about the person who's object you're holding the better, for me it is anyway.
Most spiritual groups do it as a form of practise.

Psychometry, won't that be a subject in school like a thousand year from now?
Psychometry, geometry, study of psychics!
But, reading a past seems difficult. Moving the object is hard enough(for me), but reading the past, i think i can believe that.
