During an attempted levitation in 1938, British medium Colin Evans appeared to rise from the floor at a seance in London's darkened Conway Hall.



He took the photo himself gripping a switch attached to the white cord going to his left hand.

Looks fake considering that there is a black area right beneath his feet.

Yeah, fake....like the black thing's not obvious!

hmm i think someone else snapped the picture and the lil white cord with a button has to do w/ him levitating...just a thought..ohh yea that black area in the middle of the picture is not noticeable.....SIKE

Also, if it NOT fake, then why are people not surprised at him levitating, I mean the people behind him are just carying on with their conversations, most of them do not even look shocked, it's not as if it happened every day is it?

come on guy , the black thing under his feet is his ki. thats why it looks like that.

this one i have to say though i obviously think its faked (dont know why....just do) but it can be done, best way to do it is lying down though, never seen it standing up.

has anyone noticed how uncimfirtable he looks? His body just seems contorted to me....he looks like his legs don't work and he's hanging something by a harness? or that magical black area that's been touched upon. I also see reason to find that cord he's holding as suspicious. "There are many people here, please allow me to use this cord to photograph myself "

i don't know, it just looks weird to me...not like i know what a levitating person is supposed to look like, but still....

It looks like the seat of his chair has flipped upwards and he is standing on the edge...kind of? Am am I just plain wrong?

Nobody saw one of the wires on the right side of him? There no doubt is another wire on the other side that the flash didn't hit.

I can also see that black spot ... but it might be his shadow ??
or a head of a person ... or even the chair that is under him ... for me ... it might be true ...
