user posted image rThe United States is currently experiencing a wave of Flying Triangle sightings that may have intensified in the 1990s, especially towards the latter part of the 1990s. The wave continues. The Flying Triangles are being openly deployed over and near population centers, including in the vicinity of major Interstate Highways. The behavior of these Triangular aircraft does not conform to previous patterns of covert deployment of unacknowledged aircraft. Neither the agenda nor the origin of the Flying Triangles are currently known. The flight path of the aircraft took it near the perimeter of Scott Air Force base (SAFB), the Head Quarters of Air Mobility Command. One of the NIDS investigators interviewed the AFOSI special agent in charge in his office at SAFB. The upshot of the NIDS interview was a denial from the Air Force of any knowledge of an aircraft in the vicinity of SAFB, as well as a denial that any aircraft had flown out from Scott AFB.

The NIDS report also includes two video clips (reproduced with permission) from an intensive forensic reconstruction of the event by a company that routinely conducts these reconstructions of traffic accidents for presentation in a court of law. During the ensuing years (2000-2004), NIDS received hundreds of reports from people in the United States and Canada reporting large triangular aircraft, often silent and often flying at very low altitude and at low air speed. In many cases, the objects were brightly lit.

I live in the upper northeast corner of Oklahoma, near both a football field and a major interstate, I44. My experience, while brief, was nonetheless unnerving. This took place in the fall of 1988. A friend of ours was visiting, and left at right around midnight. It was a dark, but very clear night, I don't remember a moon, but the stars were very bright, and I could hear trucks on the interstate due to the extreme quiet (the interstate is about two or three miles away). I was walking our friend to his car, and may have even mentioned the brightness of the stars, when he and I both stopped dead in our tracks when it appeared that a triangular formation of "stars" started to slowly drift to the northeast. There was NO noise, you could still hear the trucks, and being so close to a football field we could tell that the size was comparable. It drifted upwards, I'd say to an altitude of about the height of a ten story building, having started at about the height of a four story. It then dropped a couple of stories, then moved further northeast, going towards Picher, OK, where there have been other alleged sightings and there are abandoned mines and chat piles. As my friend lived in that area, he jumped in his truck and took off for home. My wife and I went to bed (her being angry we didn't come get her) and about a half hour after the sighting it sounded like about three jet planes flew over, very low, and in the same direction. When I questioned our friend later, he said the object kept going northeast, until it finally drifted out of sight.

I was watching the PBS-TV show on the new F-22 RAPTER and the proposed F-35
fighter's. I noticed that while in flight , from a distance, they both look like the traditional FLYING TEA CUP. With the use of White Noise sound suppressers, this might exsplain a lot of UFO reports. alien.gif

Yes, but not the flying triangles.

These type of UFO have really got me interested (The Triangles NOT the teacup ones) ... these appear to be almost identical to the ones that were reported over Europe some time back that attracted the attention of the Airforce which flew planes to identify/intercept the objects. The freaky thing about these UFO's is their ease of being caught on film to the extent that their lights are quite discernable from their main structure/fuselage. If these arent experimental or top secret craft from some Country then I attest these to be the most plausible case for UFO's out there.
