I saw this show on tv once about people fishing rivers for catfish and instead of using bait, they would but their arms down into the mud feeling for the catfish and would put an arm inside it's mouth and let it clamp down and then pull them out of their holes. It was one of the weirdest things I've ever seen. Has anyone else seen or heard of doing this before?

The art of catching catfish with your hand/fist is called "noodling". Only legal in Tennessee, Oklahoma, Mississippi and I think Arkansas? I know the first three states say it's legal... but anyway, I personally don't even like having a catfish on my fishing line, let alone a huge one dangling from my arm... tongue.gif They air a show about it once in awhile, it's pretty interesting!!!
FLY SPITTA
What hppens if those huge catfish catch you??? There big enough

Sweetpumper
There are plenty of people who die while "noodling". It's pretty stupid if you ask me.user posted image

Holy poop! I never knew fish could get that big. If I saw one of those with my own eyes I would think it was a shark. rolleyes.gif
