KILL BILL AGAIN

Quentin Tarantino is thinking about releasing a third Kill Bill movie which will be a version of the last two films spliced together.

The double-bill release was originally meant to have been one film but the maverick film-maker had too much footage.

"It's not just like slapping the two together," Tarantino explained.

"There are slight changes, and it has an intermission, like a 60s movie."

The director also hinted that brand new footage would feature too.

Kill Bill stars Uma Thurman as The Bride - a female assassin who is attacked on her wedding day by her group leader Bill.

Thurman's character wakes up from a coma and seeks revenge.

Uma, who is said to be Quentin's favourite leading lady, appeared as Mia Wallace in Tarantino's 1994 cult hit Pulp Fiction.

Man, if they spice them together, KB1 will go from absolutely BRILLIANT to medicore, and KB2 will go from one of the worst movies i have ever seen, to medicore.

yeah Kill Bill 2 sucked. no action at all. the only part i liked was when she plucked the women's eyeball out and stepped on it. i also liked when she was in the coffin. that was pretty intense. but other than that, it was terrible. the first was amazing tho.

I liked both movies a lot, even though part 2 almost had no action, but brilliant movies- pure style. I'm looking forward to this one

I saw an interview in which he said he was going to have the fight between the bride and the woman with the eye-patch in the desert with katanas, but he said that can be seen anywhere and so people would get bored, so isn't he opted for them to have a cat fight in a hotel room.

I've not seen the movies, but personally I think the first idea sounds better, anyone else?

Yes i agree Talon.....

Although i havent seen the second one, only the first.... Im in no hurry after the reviews....

Yeah KB2 sucked. I was so excited for it too, I was hoping for twice as much action and gore as the first one.

But there was almost none!

Especially after Tarantino promised twice as much gore and action, and what do we get? TWO people died, one of them from a snake bite, and one chick gets an eye popped out. THAT'S IT? Piece of lame. You can't go from something like the Crazy 88 fight to NOTHING smeg!

ohhh best part in KB1....when lucy lu died....well how she died really...you could see her flippiun brain lol!! having the top of ur skull chopped off w/ the hair still attached is the way to go lol grin2.gif thumbsup.gif

I thought the 2nd one was good - wasn't as good as the first no, but it was still pretty deep and introspective. And of course her walking in on her daughter...

And Bill realizing that she learned more from that old Chinese guy that he did.

Burnside...tarintino nvr promised more gore or action than the first part. Instead it was clearly mentioned in all the pre movie write ups that the first movie would be an all out action flick whereas the second part would be purely character building and plot development. True it was boring in comparison to the first...but the movie was still amazing cause of the dialouges ( cinematically)..
The fact he split a single fick and made them into two stand alone parts just tells you why Tarintino's remains one of the best today(a huge risk for any filmaker). I have heard he's thinking of making a prequel to Pulp Fiction...the best movie to come out from the 90's!!!! and that would be something to wait for.

Actually, he very much did. I have a Maxim magazine with a long interview with Mr. tarantino in which he states there will be THREE times more gore and THREE times the action and THREE times the deaths.

I consider this false advertising, and can assure you i stormed out of that cinema ALMOST asking for my money back. Compared to the first, the second movie should have stayed burried in the coffin along with Beatrix Kiddo.

Not to mention the awful plot flaws and continuity errors. How the story can go from killing her at the altar to the day before at a practice wedding i don't even know. While the acting was of course top notch, i found the story and directing far below what i expected from Tarantino.

I agree that the first part was more intense and entertaining, but the second one had very good moments too. My favorite part is the training with Pai Mei.

if miramax would have released it the way tarantino wanted it no one would be talking about which movie was better...you need to realize that it is 1 movie 1 screenplay, not a sequel it is just the ending to a great story
