While House setting for my aunt at my grandmothers home on April 2,2004 a man appeared to me right after I climbed into bed in my grandmothers room . I wasnt scared of him, anyway I dont remember being afraid, for some reason I just rolled over and went to sleep, but when I awoke at 4:30 am the following morning, I was paranoid, I'm not sure why this man appeared to me, but I'm having a very hard time dealing with it.....I'm writting a book on what happened to me.....I might never know why but I do believe now . If anyone can advise me on this please email me...

Exactly what do you believe because of this man's appearance? Did he say anything? Do anything? blink.gif

I did not wake up and see a guy...I climbed into my grandmothers bed and just as I turn to towards the wall a man was standing there. I can not remember if he had a face all I can remember is he was wearing a red checker shirt with what looks like a long john shirt underneath and light brown pants.

All I know is there was a man standing between the bed and night stand. I dont remember him saying anything or doing anything and I wasnt afraid when I seen him because I just rolled over and went to sleep. When I awoke I was paranoid , not sure what happened after I went to sleep.

That's the strangest thing I've heard! You mean when you first saw a strange man standing in the bedroom, all you did was roll over and go to sleep? blink.gif
I wouldv'e been scared half to death, screaming, and trying to get out of that room! And I don't believe I wouldv'e wanted to sleep in there after that. wacko.gif
And why be paranoid later on,when it's far too late? You had all ready rolled over and went to sleep, with a strange man standing there looking at you. huh.gif

I agree with MarthMadness54, how can you write a whole book, that will only consist of you seeing a man standing there, ( who by the way, didn't even scare you) and you rolling over to go to sleep?

MichiganLady,

As I see it. The way you posted your experience, makes people wonder.

Most people, who encounter a spirit standing there, watching/looking at them, while in bed, would normaly jump up or do something, thinking there was an intruder in the house.

Now, I'm tending to think, I may be wrong by making an assumption on this. You rolled over & went to sleep because, either, you had alcohol or other substances in your system. After you slept it off, awaken, recalled the experience, is why you became paranoid.

When you were questioned about the book. Most people will write a book after their own many experiences and research. I myself have been approached to write a book and also have my own local cable tv show. Which I turned down at the time, for personal reasons. I am at this point, considering doing a monthly session on a local am chat radio station. We are working out the details now.
I am well known in my community, I have never charged a fee for my psychic abilities. Because of a lifetime of experiences & have proven myself, I created a name for myself, localy that is. Being questioned on, how can you write a book, just on one experience, is a fair question to be asked.

People are trying to figure out, your state of mind at the time, why roll over & go to sleep, then a few hours later, wake up & be paranoid? They can't help you if they don't have all the known facts.

Michiganlady,

Putting all your emotions aside. He might of been just what I call, a passing (no pun intended) spirit. Or a spirit that once lived on that property & was wondering why you were sleeping in that bed.

Appently he wasn't an angry spirit. When the reality of the experience set in, it frighten you, which is a very normal response.

I tell people, that spirits/ghosts are just people who no longer have a body. An encounter with one, should be reassurence that, life continues on in another realm. This earthly realm is not all there is to our existance, we go on. original.gif

Thank you for your response. I did get an abstract of the home and found there was 1 previous owner a Dr. Rogers who passed away in the upstairs bedroom in 1945. I believe that God does have a purpose in permitting this experience in my life, for he works all things together for the good, maybe in some way he wants this experience to be used in a positive way in my life . Sometimes we are not told immediately why we encounter something of the unknown, paranormal, supernatural or what ever you wish to call it, until later in ones life or if at all during ones life. Some may search for answers the rest of their lives while others find out who or what they are dealing with while still on this earth. I'm probably one of thoses who will seaqrch and search for an answer and never find it unless the good Lord tells me why this man appeared to me and why I just rolled over and went to sleep just to wake up with a body mind and soul filled with total fear.......

I have come to a conclusion based on all of your posts. Your story doesn't alter

You were dreaming. Dreams are not always remembered as dreams. Example: phew, glad that was just a dream. I have had several dreams in recent history that I haven't really been able to discern that what I dreamed wasn't real, but I intuitively know that it couldn't have been. Memory is an interesting thing. It is seldom as accurate as we would wish it to be. Even things we remember with much detail can be quite in err as to the actual facts of the reality of what we remember.

I think you were dreaming. I think you woke up...and went back to sleep, and the 'memory' of the man was etched in your brain in such a way as when you woke up it seemed very real.

Sorry but I wasnt dreaming, just before I climbed into bed I was setting on the bed facing the other way from where the man was standing and I was talking to my mom who was in the dinning room at the time, I just told her goodnight and shut off the light in the bedroom and climbed into bed, the dinning room light was on because my mom was setting at the table reading . So I was fully awake, The doc who put me under told me after it was all over that he had never witnessed something like this before, and just before he woke me up he said I started to shake. He made it like I was standing in the doorway looking into my grandma bedroom and that I was watching everything unfolding before my eyes but I wouldnt feel anything, it was like watching a movie. I know its unreal but its true I know what I saw and it still is bothering me sometime. I'm trying to put my life back together and that is why I came onto this site in hopes I could find some help.

Maybe I happen to have met someone that had lived or visited in that location, but has passed over, since i didnt recognize that man maybe he was only a friend of my grandparents or maybe he was the Dr. that had passed on yrs. ago. I have recieved an email from a Pastor Sellers here in Michigan and he states this:
" This is the most difficult of action for a spirit to show because they need a lot of energy to make this happen. You may not realize it but you your given a message in what we call a picture form. I need to try and remember everything about that night as the message is contained in that brief glimpse from the other side. He can only appear in my grandmothers room as that is where he felt anchored for some reason. :...He told me I have some gifts if he was able to show himself to me, because not many people have the gift of seeing. There are many things that go on around us we can not see as it moves faster that the naked eye. That is why we hear children seeing things and talking to ones that we can not see as adults.
Look I do not do drugs nor do I drink. I work everyday and I support my family. I dont ask for anything from others, I'm an easy going person who loves to play softball, and bowl and time with the grandkids..I'm kinda like a plan jane...who has worked for everything I have which isnt much but I'm happy. Now you know my state of mind, all I did was try and look for some help in dealing with this that is why I turned to this website... but now I really wonder why I did......
