You could always know when A resident at the nursing home were agoing to die.
The air seemed to get heavy when he would show up . The first time I had the encounter it was around 3 in the morning and my first years as a,CNA. A very Godly woman that I worked with said Can you feel him ,He is here ? I asked "what did she mean by that?" She told that the death angel was around to take the resident that had been very sick. She was a older lady so I let it pass that she was trying to scare me. Not having alot to do at this time in the morning we usaully read or something to the next round. Sitting there The older Lady told me to look down the hall at the man. Thinking It was one of our wondering residents in a black robe, I went to get him to help him back to his room. When the the older lady realized what I was doing she yelled at me not togo down the hall. When I turned to tell her it was resident the fire doors slammed behind me. This cutting off sight to what i thought was a resident . When I opened the door that cuts the hall into noone was there. The rooms at that end where empty except for one resident that had been sick which now was dead.

When I worked in a hospital years ago, you could feel a presence in certain parts of the ward. I remember there was a patient who I just had a feeling was going to die ( something around him ) when I returned from days off I was told he had passed over.It came as a shock to the other nursing staff who thought he was getting better.
Jocee it's interesting that there was 2 of you who actually saw the angel of death.

I believe he is present at every passing. He's there to guide us on to the next
life.

When I was around 11 years old, we had a "death angel" in our hospital. ph34r.gif It was so common that the nurses began making bets on who the next person was that would get a visit from the death angel. (Sadly, when the death angel would come, someone on that floor of the hospital would die. crying.gif) Many people died on a regular basis, (it was one or more people in a weeks time) on that floor where the death angel roamed. sad.gif Then come to find out,......... it was a nurse who was going in and killing one of the very ill patients during the night!! blink.gif
A Paranormal being
thats some freaky stuff. but what earthy girl04 said was so discusting! who would do such a terrible thing as that! eg04 did she do these things to win the bets or was she doing this to the patience before the nurses started making bets? and what happened to her if you dont mind me asking these questions.
chat later

death angel

why do you guys and girls call it "death angel" perhaps it is the angel that guides us to heaven.
Deathangel sounds a bit negative.

By the way, does the soul leave the body just before you die? If so this could be the person who will die.
sam
how can the soul leave the body before the person dies????

in my opinion it could possibly the spirit of a loved one that has come to guide the person that is going to die to where ever it is that we go to when we die!

Maybe it's old man Wilkins in a mask.

The night my Mom passed over, I sensed what I call the "Welcome Home Angel". I didn't see him/her, just sensed. There was an experience that took place that night, I am ever so grateful to have experienced.

Why would nurses or so call nurses go around murdering their patients?

When you read their reasons, mainly to put people out of their misery. To me, they are just serial killers. People with a sick mind.

Does the soul leave the body before actual death?

I have talked & read about people who have had a near death experience. Some of them found themselves out of their body looking at the situation, either from above or standing there watching, before point of impact.

Being that we only have people who have had a NDE to go by. I would say, in some cases yes.

My grandmother knew she was going to die. She said things like there were children crawling on the walls to take her and that evil creatures were having sex in her room. She also cried alot and told me she was going to die soon and go to hell. I also had a dream the night before she dies that she was in a coffin but still alive and everyone around me was crying. I told everyone that she was still alive but they didnt listen and buried her alive, I just stood there listening to her scream as the dirt filled her grave. I was very upset about this, because my mom and my sister and aunt had a simular dream of my grandmother dying the smae night I did. In our family if we all have a death dream about the same person the same night it usually happens. Counting this time with my grandmother it would be the third time. We knew what was coming and it did that morning. It is strange how you can predict such things...

Couldn't it just be the fact that thousands of people die in hospitals, especially in the senior citizens ward where the patients are right on the edge of death, that would make people 'feel' or believe that a ghostly presence is always hovering around?
joceeghost
not when you have more than one encounter with it and if you ever worked in places like this you would understand better
