Everyday I go on the internet for hours! Guess you can say it's my hobbie anyway I'm always told by others that's all I do and I do that to much. Now it's not like I live on the internet just when I do get on it I stay on it for hours! I know I'm not the only one that stays on the internet everyday right how many others go on the internet for hours also?

I will be the first to admit I spend way too much time online...I have drastically cut down the time I spend on it recently (as some people might have noticed by my dimished time on the forum lately), but it still does take up a significant junk of my day.

With University starting up again right around the corner, and a new job looming on the horizon, I'm sure my addiction is about to be cut back though, so it's all good

Yeh same for me, in the holidays and I have endless hours of time to fill I spend a lot of time on the internet.

I don't see anything wrong with spending a lot of time on it as long as it's not stopping you from doing other important stuff, or it's letting down your friends or something like that.

When I go back to college though my time on the net will be seriously diminished so I won't have to worry abotu spending hours on here anymore lol.

i don't do anything else, and i don't see a problem in it. So i don't give a crap how much time i spend

It only becomes a problem if it affects your health or your turning down friends and family to spend time on the internet.

Otherwise whats wrong with it? Personally I would only be lying around my house doing nothing else, at least if I can go on the net I can work on my site and learn new things everyday.

im on the interet for hours at a time every single day. more than half of that time is spent on this site. i probably could find something better to do....but the internet is addicting and it rules

Glad to see I'm not the only one who spends a lot of time on the internet! I think it's a great way to pass the time and also have fun doing it. As long as it don't ct into you doing something important it's ok. And come to think about it others who tell me I'm on it to much need to shut up! It's better than watching tv at least on the net your doing something phisical.

LOL!!! Consider this, in a 3 hour stint on the net we will most likely have
to visit the bathroom at least once maybe twice = physical Make a coffee
or soda run at least twice = physical Answer the phone=physical answer
the doorbell = physical, and many more examples may blend their way into
any given session.

Well all I'm saying is that the interent is better than just sitting there watching tv all day. At least on the net you type read search do things like that. Oh yeah and argue with fellow forum users

In truth, i go on the internet at home maybe for 30 mins a day. It's at work i get all these posts done. Something to pass the long, boring hours, especially since all other sites are blocked.

If you're going to apply that logic it's no more physical than watching telly cos surely you have to go to the bathroom get a soda and that whilst doing that anyway?

I think you can spend too much time on the internet if you're on it all day and everyday for months on end cos then it would seem you're not doing much else and that's not a particularly great thing.... IN MY OPINION!

Plus I value the net more once I've been off it for a couple of days or so...

work just asking? I wish I could be on UM all day at work!! Also I'm on the internet the whole weekend long mostly Friday after school till Sunday afternoon. But it's ginna be Monday to this weekend no school Monday! YEaH! I also go on the internet for a hour or so on weekdays after school.

I spose once you get into it though you become more aware of the different topics and more able to give your opinion on them.

I send reminders out when i think the person has had more than enough time to respond, mainly after 7 days.

I'm determined to be the first to hit 5000, once i get there i'm gonna slow down abit.

My phone can go on the internet, it's not as good as the real thing, slower and less convienient. You can use MSN messenger on there as well, but I only do that when I need to talk to someone and they have no credit.

My cell I currently got can go on the internet but it kinda sucks. Basically every week is the same for me. WEEKdays school come home internet for about a hour sleep then just whatever. But weekends Friday till Sunday afternoon nothing but internet. Mostly im listening to music or on this site. That's why I got a cell so I can talk on the phone and be on the net on the weekends.

Why what do you do at your friends house? If you spent less time talking to them on the fone you could save money and use it to do stuff like cinema lol

Have you not got a normal phone that you can use in your house to cut down on cell phone bills cos it seems to me you're wasting a lot of money on that.

I am on the internet in spurts. Sometimes I find myself realising I have spent a good too many hours looking at my screen and other times I will not be near the comp for days. It really depends on whats happening in my life at that time.

Yeah my contract must cost about the same as yours, but if ALL my money was going entirely on that I wouldn't have it cos I'd want to be doing other stuff.

All my money don't go to my phone, when I get money like I got $20.00 dollars yesterday. I bought a CD. So money don't really matter for me. I would not go to movies anyway $10.00 to much just to get in. And $3.50 Is to much for soda.

I pay £25 a month for my mobile contract, but I use it all the time so that's quite cheap.

I don't have a problem with movies cos it only costs me 9.99 a month for unlimited, and it only costs £3 a time if you dont have an unlimited card like me so it's not that for people here.

Well I don't care $50.00 a month, but I'm saving up for a cam phone it's gonna be $200 dollars!!! And I got nothing better to do with my money. Theres no good video games out no good movies except for that new snake movie. Only video game I'm looking foward to is Grand Theft Auto S.A.

Yeah well the phone I got now is Cingular it's a color phone with real ringtones(actual music) and it only cost $9.99 for the phone. And each month the bill is $49.99 I got 5,000 night & weekend and 500 anytime minutes and free mobile to mobile. But I'm gonna upgrade my phone at the end of this month I CANT WAIT FOR MY CAM PHONE!!

The fone I have now is Nokia it has colour screen, can send and receive picture messages, real music tones, wap enabled, fm radio, games etc and was free.

i get 500 wap minutes, 200 any time minutes and 500 text.

You don't have that many minutes see I use my phone for talk not really games and all that useless stuff. You phone sounds cool but you barely have any minutes! I got games to plus free internet access. And I gto text messages lso but only 500 and thats to read and send. But when I get my cammy bill will be $59.99 because I will have unlimited pic and unlimited video 'cause you could record like a cam corder.

Yeh you can use mine like a video recorder too my new one when it comes.

I don't have many minutes cos I don't use it that much, I actually prefer to talk to people face to face.... so mainly I text/phone to arrange when to meet up....

Well see I love to talk on the phone sometimes I always don't want to talk face to face. Also I love to talk on the phone wel I'm on the net that's why my cell comes in handy. MAN I CAN'T WAIT FOR MY NEW CELL NOW!
