I have two Trivia questions that me and some friends are stuck on..these are from a contest we are entering and any help would be awesome.
question 1) If you get spooked by ordinary cops, you're in for double trouble at this dakota hotel, where the towns first sheriff is said to haunt the hallways. what's the hotel and name the sheriff who haunts it?
question 2) here;s one you'll take a shine to: name the hotel whose room 217 seemed so eerie to the man that stayed in it, he issued a warning that everyone else should stay out?
I know #2 has something to do with the shining movie or book.

#2 is the Overlook Hotel in Colorado. I have no idea about #1

deadwood, south dakota ----bullock hotel...sheriff seth bullock

The movie "The Shining" was partially filmed (the outside shots) at Timberline Lodge in Oregon--Mount Hood I believe....

as for #1: (South Dakota) Deadwood - Bullock Hotel - Its haunted by the sheriff of Deadwood and its namesake Seth Bullock. Seth was sheriff in the 1800's. ?????
