Memories of shock and pain
Sadness and thankfulness
Staring into the eyes of a child who was
Spared of feeling the tears of death
Needing to show love
To everyone
Continuing to grow
Up through the ashes of life
Becoming aware
Are we fighting for protection because of fear
Or for freedom and the right to drink beer
Are we fighting for oil, are we fighting for food
I need to make sure this is
For everyones good
You see we are on the same planet
You and me
People fight for peace or war or some of each
To the power of love:
Please hear everyones speech - thank you
It seems crazy that war can be created
With such ease
Isn't it just as easy for peace
