What side of the political aisle do you sit on? Well, get up my friend......

........it's time to Trade Places!

It goes something like this:

If you are on the Left..........you are now on the Right.

If you are on the Right.......you are now on the Left.

Pick the other side of the aisle and sit there for awile.

Just log in to this thread and let us know where you are sitting and then post in any other political thread from your new viewing position.

And be serious........this is an excercise in 'walking a mile in my shoes'.

Put either Left or Right in italics at the end of your post to let us know which side you have changed to.

I want to know how the other side comes up with the arguments they do....so I shall become one from the other side of the aisle.

See you.

Joc is now sitting on the Left Side of the Aisle....henceforth until further notice. thumbsup.gif

The spectrums are so diverse that this impossible to cover. tongue.gif I mean by right are you taking about 'Government should keep its business out of the shop floor' or 'Gays should be killed' or 'Hail Hitler' or 'Money is everything' etc etc

Same left could be 'I wanna nationalise everything' or 'I beleive the government should increase welfare' or 'I beleive in more in increasing the powers of the democractic government' (with the opposite being 'I beleive in removing the capotalist abomination of democracy')

Well now there are 'extremes' in everything. You are not 'extreme' left nor I am 'extreme' right. What I am talking about is a normal thought flow from one perspective or the other.

I see what you mean though....for instance, you and I disagree on the war in Iraq, yet we agree on what should be done with terrorists.

Hmmmmmmmmm.......I think I am suffering from post slumber party stress disorder................ ph34r.gif

Joc has now moved back to the correct side of the aisle....it just wasn't fun trying to let idiocy control my thought process tongue.gif
